This condo is in a great location. Very close to restaurants, shops, and grocery. Quick access to beach. A lot of space for dogs to walk as well. Check in process was smooth and the host was very responsive. The unit could have been cleaner. Overall a great stay.

4/10 Poor

The cleanliness of this condo was very disappointing. The towels and sheets were stained, the TV stand and towel rack were broken, and the pillowcases had very gross and concerning stains. Nothing felt clean or fresh, and I was questioning if anything had been cleaned or changed out prior to my stay. It was a poor experience in this condo considering how expensive it is, and it was not worth the price. This condo was not a good representation of Maravilla, which has usually exceeded expectations. I would not recommend staying here unless you bring your own towels and sheets.

Thank you for sharing this detailed feedback. I am very sorry for the condition of the condo and the discomfort it caused during your stay. Your comments about the stained linens, broken items, and overall cleanliness are concerning and will be addressed with the cleaning and maintenance teams. This is not the standard that is intended, especially given the price and your past positive experiences at Maravilla. Your review helps identify where improvements are urgently needed.

Short walk to the beach

Spacious condo for our party of 6. The property management made check in and check out very easy. Cannot see the Gulf but just a short walk to the water. Plenty of amenities like a pool and fitness room right behind the condo. Wonderful stay.

8th year staying in Maravilla

Another beautiful Destin vacation at Maravilla. Our group of 4 had plenty of room to spread out, and the condo had everything we needed. We love that the beach is such a short walk from the door. We bring our bikes with us and love having a ground floor unit to keep them close and ready to go at a moments notice. It’s also nice that the condo is very close to the pool and spa. Looking forward to next year’s stay!

The unit was dirty on our arrival. Mold in the bathroom, gritty countertops, floors made your feet dirty, The front door was uninviting. The pictures are misleading. The furniture and cabinets are very worn and one piece is different from photos. Skillets were worn out, eventually replaced. The dryer had a missing knob, could not make a setting. The management company, Southern Vacation Rentals was poor to respond to the issues and definitively not the customer advocate. The place was very unpleasant.

Spring break

We enjoyed our stay in this Maravilla condo. The kitchen was very well equipped. We did bring additional paper towels, dishwasher soap, surface cleaner, coffee filters and toilet paper. Forgot to bring spices, S&P, etc. The kitchen and living area were updated and nice. Ice maker worked great! The floor plan was great as my teenagers had their own half bath that was also connected to the shared shower. Great location as far as the beach and the heated pool. We walked to restaurants. The beach chairs set up was terrific! Really appreciated that service! Overall, a great stay!

Great Location

The property is located just a short distance from the beach which is absolutely breath taking. The problem is the unit we stayed at was very dated. We also had to re-clean the unit upon arrival since it was poorly cleaned by housekeeping. Lastly, doing let the pictures fool you. There furniture is the same but the every was old and worn out. If you plan on resting, don't because you wont get a goon night sleep.

Vacation Nightmare

Roaches, filthy, animal urine all over the curtains, rugs and bed skirt. Air filter and dryer lint screen packed with filth and lint. Cabinets were dirty, loose floor tiles, extra floor tile stored under bed making for a hazard. Will not stay in this condo again. Will go with another property management company next time. We have been coming to Maravilla for 12 years and this was the absolute worst stay we have ever had.

Just OK. Nothing to be impressed about. We have stayed at multiple units in this complex, and this one has to be one of our least favorite with old furniture, and some essential items not provided for a week stay. The Unit it’s just fine. But you can definitely find Something better in the complex.
