The host was very easy to communicate with and the property was excellent.Clean and well furnished, Newer appliances, kitchen cupboards and counter tops.
House was clean and comfortable. Large kitchen with lots of counter space. Host communicated the house rules and important information several days before arrival. One parking spot behind the garage. Stairs are on the narrow side and turn twice; take care when walking up or down in socks! We enjoyed our stay.
Great place to stay while in Winnipeg! Very easy to find and very close to the Forks. The owner was very quick to respond to my email. It was very clean and comfortable. I would give this experience 12 stars out of 10!
The apartment is in a busy but fun neighborhood with easy walking access to a grocery and dollar store and restaurants. It was also a 25 minute walk to the Forks to go out. It was great to have the small parking spot.
The apartment was clean and modern with all necessary amenities.

Perfect location. Everything was great. Clean, modern and great location
Great host, off street parking for one car, clean and warm. Really high ceilings (11 foot) Perfect location for getting around town.Limited number of towels, but I brought my own so wasn't an issue ;-)
Loved the layout. Bedroom were a great size for our teenage kids. Lots of space in rooms with places to put clothing. Definitely will be staying again. Host was readily available for questions.
This property is in a wonderful neighbourhood andwalking distance to a lovely brewery! It is fitted out with everything I needed and has onsite parking which is great. Mattress is comfortable and Samira was great and fast to communicate with.I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again for sure!!

I enjoyed the house , I felt safe and it was very clean . The only problem we had was the parking, only parking for one small vehicle, other than that was the perfect place .

Very clean and nicely appointed interior. It is in a busy neighborhood but reasonably quiet. Within walking distance to hospital, restaurants and some shopping. Host Samira responded quickly to our inquries. Good value for our reservation timeframe. Would recommend for the value conscious traveler

I visited Winnipeg for a medical procedure at St.Boniface hospital and this property was absolutely perfect. The house is beautiful inside and feels brand new. The beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there is an AMAZING bath tub!! The host was super helpful and easy to get in touch with, always answered quickly. Convenient parking and friendly neighbourhood. Would highly recommend, especially if you need to be at St. Boniface!
I’m impressed at the location of this property. On my first morning, I walked towards The Forks. There are others walking, so I didn’t feel uncomfortable. In the night time, the neighborhood is quiet. The property is well renovated inside with modern amenities. The host is very accommodating and communicated well.

Thank you very much for the nice review Mary-Lou. Hope to see you again soon.
We loved that the property was so close to our mom's care home. What we didn't like was that there was only 1 queen bed in a 3 bedroom house. The 2 tiny beds were rock hard and super low to the ground, as was the living room sofa. The sofa was also extremely worn. Although there was a coffee maker, there was no coffee, she brought coffee the 2nd night of our stay, there was no tea, not sure if there was a kettle or not. We did love that the home had 2 bathrooms one with a walk in shower.

Girls weekend
Great location, and host was quick to respond to messages.A few things I wish I had known before booking:*That there was no washing machine available. This was listed as an amenity when we booked, and still listed on the day we arrived. When a member of our group went to use the washing machine, there was a sign saying it was broken. I messaged asking when it would be fixed, and was told it would not be but that there was a laundromat nearby. If there are any amenities listed that are important to you, I would suggest messaging the host to confirm that they are still there - even if they are on the listing.*The two single beds had very firm mattresses (comparable to a sleeping mat on the ground - one member of our group ended up sleeping on the couch*All of the house rules before booking - the host sent a message with a dozen plus house rules the day before check in. Most were reasonable, but one would have been a dealbreaker if we were informed in advance.

Hi Caitlin,
I’m sorry that your experience was not a 5 star experience. We always do our best to accommodate our guests as best as we can, and we have pretty good ratings on VRBO.
For the washing machine, some guest actually broke it and we were trying to get a replacement part and it was sold out everywhere so sadly we couldn’t fix it the day of your arrival as you requested. However I suggested a laundromat that was literally 3 min walk from the house and was really cheap for a big load, maybe $4 for a big load, that was an easy solution to wash your clothes and bring them to the house to dry them as the dryer works. If you really needed a the washing machine I could’ve even reimbursed you the cost of the laundromat if you had told me.
As for the mattress, it’s honestly the first time anyone complained about those mattresses, people actually like them. That’s unfortunately a personal preference and it’s hard to anticipate the needs of each guest as people have different needs when it comes to mattresses, so we chose one that would work for most people and unfortunately your friend had a different need and preferred to sleep on the couch as it was more comfortable for her, but again our past guests never complained and actually loved the mattresses. It’s just like any hotel, not all mattresses are the same, some like firm mattresses and some like soft mattresses.
Regarding the rules and the guidelines, I actually sent them 5 days before your check in date. You were checking in on the 21st and I sent the guideline/rules on the 17th. Maybe you didn’t check your messages and you missed my messages but I sent all the instructions and all the rules 5 days in advance.
Regarding the rules, I’m not sure which rule would’ve been a deal breaker to be honest, and I’m really confused because I think all of our rules are pretty standard in the industry: no parties allowed, no big gatherings, lock the doors and windows at check out, don’t stain the white towels, wipe the quartz counter top if you spill anything that could stain it, no candles because of fire hazards, no smoking in the house, take garbage out and wash dishes, no pets because of the hair they leave behind, no eating in the beds because that might stain the bedding (had really bad experiences in the past), and check out at 11, these are literally all the rules and guidelines. And these are all mentioned in the description or the house guidelines when you check the listing.
I tried to make your stay as pleasant as possible, I responded to all your messages within a couple minutes and even brought you what you needed when you asked within the hour.
However I messaged you and you didn’t reply until days later, fortunately it wasn’t very important so it was ok.
Hope my explanation here clarifies things.
Have a great day
Dies
