Cabin was as advertised. Intimate environment. No wood to burn in stove however and it did get very cold one night. Host was fab with comms and instructions.

Hi Steve. Im glad you enjoyed your stay. Please note, as advertised, that the wood fire is only for winter use. Its not usually needed outside of winter….Im sorry you found it cold in March here. I will put hot water bottles in the cabins now in case other guests are also feeling it to be cold. The fires are serviced in May each year ready for the June-August colder months.
A hidden treasure: the wee 'farm shack' cabin was spick & span, comfy, with a small deck looking out over the Waikato. Bonus of visiting horses, cheeky chickens & baby goats frolicking in the paddocks. Rita is an excellent host. Five stars
