Romantic Getaway
We were here for Valentines weekend and will come back for many other occasions. Such amazing views and the love that is put into the space is really felt.
We stayed in during the gloomy weather snuggled up on the couch and it was just what we needed for a calm weekend away. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and I was so pleasantly surprised by how well stocked it was, utensils, tools, spices, tinfoil, and more. Eating out on the deck while the sun began to set was beautiful.Listening to the rain against our balcony from the bedroom made for such a lovely Sunday morning. At night, we kept the windows open, and in this September weather it was perfect. The AC unit in the main room also works so well and cools the place down fast during the warmer day time. I was obsessed with the bath! It was amazing to take a bubbly bath under the moonlight in the bathroom. They also left a little treat near the welcome note for our pup, which was such a sweet touch. We brought our own dog bowls, but they did have some there, along with dog toys and a gate as well.It was a little warm to use the fireplace, but the fact that it opens to both the bedroom and the living room was such a cute feature and would be incredible in the wintertime.Overall, it was such a cozy, peaceful place for a relaxing weekend away.
This home is so beautiful and homey! Very accurate to the photos, if not better in person. Spent the weekend away from the city to recharge and this was the perfect home to do so. Highly recommend!
We had a lovely time. The only issue was that we couldn't really use the stove. The view was beautiful and we enjoyed the beach!

Getaway
Nice cabin vibe getaway. Close to nature and amazing view of the lake. Beds are squeaky and makes noise with every turn. Location is hard to find at night but it add to our adventure.
Donna’s home was quiet and relaxing, with a wonderful balcony overlooking the lake. Lake access and pool were nearby and her instructions were clear and helpful. Thank you for the easy communication and for sharing your home with us!
Our experience in Athens was wonderful. The host was extremely helpful whenever we needed her. The location was perfect. The views from her home are just gorgeous! Sit and watch the sunset over the lake...who could ask for more. Our dog loved swimming at the dog beach! We visited Olana, ate in fabulous restaurants (which the host recommended), hiked, toured the Hudson on boat, and even went to Woodstock! This was a very welcomed vacation! Thank you, Donna!

Mindy was an ideal guest. Friendly and communicative, she conveyed her appreciation to me of the house, the lake and all the area offered that enhanced their experience.
Always welcome!
Everything was wonderful. Cozy and clean. The sunset over the lake and mountains was the best part of the day!

This guest expressed his appreciation from the moment he arrived. I found this very gratifying as a home owner who always hopes to provide a best and positive experience to all. Thanks, Scott
We spent the week after Christmas here with our dog. Great location on the lake and close to Athens and Catskills. Owner was responsive and helpful. Lakeside neighborhood is good for walking. The property is comfortable and as pictured.
Very cozy and comfortable for a pet-friendly stay.
Nice cozy, small cabin for a getaway with beautiful views on the lake. The place had a really nice vibe and it was so nice to have our 2 4-legged kiddos with us. The neighborhood was not so much our cup of tea but would probably be fine with most. There was just alot of development and places were closer together than preferred. The owner was very flexible and responsive.

From being a fairly well kept secret, Sleepy Hollow Lake has experienced an influx of buying and building from the beginning of the pandemic. Since these are second homes for many who come and go, there is still much privacy and a country feel throughout the community. While nearby towns offer interesting shops and restaurants, hiking and ski slopes are half hour away. Thanks, Kim, for the firewood. Perfect size for my fp. Hope your dogs got to enjoy the freedom of the dog park.
Enjoyed my stay. House was perfect for one person and easy to get to. Very comfortable and a great view of the lake but no lake access from the house. But easy access at several points just down the street. Very laid back. I love the area - Catskills, Athens, Hudson. Lots to do and see.
We had a lovely time relaxing in this cozy "treehouse" which had a gorgeous sunset view of the lake. The house is in a private lakeside community. We enjoyed our nighttime walks around the community with our dogs to the dog beach. Host was helpful and accessible.
We loved the view of the lake, waking up to a gorgeous view from the bedroom. Fireplace opens into both the living room and bedroom. Very cozy cabin - beautiful wood floors. Donna was very responsive and helpful.
