The location was wonderful and the communication was good. The condo itself is dated besides the newer redone kitchen. I don’t mind staying in older places if kept clean. This one was not. When we arrived there were crumbs and dirt on the floor and crumbs on the table. The side of the master bed (the boxspring cover) had food or more likely puke stains on it. They did offer to clean it the following day but I had already cleaned it myself. The shower in the master has a noisy leak and then when turned on the pipes make a very loud noise that can be heard throughout the condo. If the door to the bathroom is kept closed you can sleep through that noise however there are street lights that come in through the top of the curtains so you may want to wear a mask. I would not stay here again.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry your stay at Beach Colony 511 didn’t meet expectations. While I’m glad the location and communication worked well, the cleanliness issues, stained boxspring cover, and the noisy shower/pipe are unacceptable. I apologize you had to clean yourself after arrival. Please message us through Vrbo with any additional details so we can address this with our housekeeping and maintenance teams and improve future stays. We appreciate you staying with Luxury Beach Rentals.

Great resort and room

It was a great stay the only thing that was an issue was the TV in the front room had it’s brightness all the way down but it was an easy fix.

Short but Sweet

My family and i had a great time...there were two teenagers with us and both had a great time bot at the beach (very convenient) and at the pool area. This is a family friendly resort so if you want quiet and peaceful, perhaps this not the place. The room was very dated but it served the purpose and we had a great time.

Overall the place was clean, just noticed our feet turning black walking barefoot in there. The primary bedroom bed was hard as a rock so we did not sleep too well. Can see the beach from the balcony and the walk out to the beach was easy! Lots of pools, even a little kiddie one for the littles. The Indoor pool was closed for repairs though so did not get to see that one. The parking deck is very tight so it was a bit stressful managing that

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback! We’re so glad you enjoyed the easy beach access, beautiful views, and the variety of pools for families. We’re sorry to hear about the floors and understand that mattress comfort can be a personal preference — but we truly appreciate you letting us know. The indoor pool closure was temporary for maintenance, and we appreciate your patience during that time. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back for an even more comfortable visit next time!

Central to all the things we like to do & the property grounds are very nice! Our kids loved the arcade in the hotel! Lots of pool options, pool bar/restaurant, turfed areas to play, hammocks & the beach access is nice.

Nice condo on the beach

We found the beach in this area to be really clean with nice sand. The slope into the ocean is slight allowing you to walk out 100 yards or so before starting to get a little deep. The condo itself is on the 5th floor and the door is conveniently located near the parking garage access. It's a short drive to the amenities on the north beach and the south beach as it is centrally located. It is not an easy walk anywhere but the beach. Even so, I found traffic to be light and parking of no issue everywhere we went in the middle of June. Beach chairs and umbrella will cost you 55/day if you don't have your own. That's too much, and they hog the good area and won't let you put up an umbrella in front of the rentals. That's about the only thing that upset me for the whole week we were there. Check in is slightly dicey as the parking passes are in the room and you can only leave your car out front for 15 minutes to retrieve it. Also the parking garage is a little tight to navigate. All bigger trucks and such are limited to the first floor. I was stuck waiting multiple times for trucks to get maneuvered in or out before I could pass. Don't take a big truck here, you will not be happy. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The condo is pretty decent and the beach is great.

Unfortunately, I cannot give this property a five or a 10 out of 10 as some others have. The location is fantastic because it’s basically right on the beach and there is somewhat of a view of the beach from the patio. Access to the beach is easy. Regarding the property itself while the kitchen has been updated a lot of the other items are merely a coat of paint over old cabinets. The cutlery is a hodgepodge of knives with broken tips and a knife block that for some reason has been painted. We found Tupperware tops, but no Tupperware to match. There is not a full set of wine glasses that match. And I know it may sound trite, but it is the little things that give a property five stars out of five or 10 out of 10. The bathroom cabinet in the second bathroom had no shelves in it at all and looks like it’s been there since the place was built. The countertop to the sink in the second bathroom is looks like original as well and is scratched heavily. I didn’t even observe the main bedroom Bath. The mirror in the second bathroom has clearly fallen off the wall and is broken, but has been somehow reattach to the wall, but the corners have visible spaces where the frame came apart. My family member had to vacuum sand up from the floor in the master bedroom as well. The top of the refrigerator had a visible coating of dust. The furniture on the patio is old and though it works, the appearance itself again are the little things they give a property five out of five or 10 out of 10.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I’m glad the location, beach access, and patio view worked well for your stay. I’m sorry the unit fell short on several details—the mismatched/broken cutlery and painted knife block, missing Tupperware bases, uneven glassware, missing shelves and worn countertop in the second bathroom, the damaged mirror, sand on the master bedroom floor, dust on top of the refrigerator, and the tired patio furniture. I’ve shared each issue with our housekeeping and maintenance teams so they can replace or repair the items you noted, deep-clean high surfaces and floors, and evaluate the patio furniture. Routine inspections are performed, and your feedback helps us improve. We hope to welcome you back and deliver the five-star experience you expected.
