Set in quiet hamlet without road noise. Great location, central to many top local attractions of the south of the Dordogne, and the valley of the 5 chateaux, house is situated between Sarlat and Rocamador, just 10 minutes from the Dordogne River for canoeing, picnics and swimming. Perfect!

Stunning and spacious, open-plan house, large lounge with cathedral ceiling which leads out to terrace with outdoor sofa area and table and chairs. Huge kitchen, great for cooking together and just hanging out. 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (one bedroom with en-suite is on the ground floor). Outside there is your private pool, gardens, fire pit and sunny and shaded eating areas and a outdoor sofa for relaxing. Enjoy the al-fresco lifestyle and campfire evenings, all set in over an acre of private gardens and not overlooked! Evenings can be spent barbecuing, roasting marshmallows on the firepit and stargazing (the skies are amazing, with the milkyway hoovering above).

We are Australian and English and now lucky enough to live in this beautiful area of France. We are both creative, I am an artist and my husband is a carpenter. We enjoy walking with are new terrier but we also both have a passion for pickleball, which we organise a group and play locally.

What makes this property unique

The open plan layout and many different area to chill out and relax. The natural pool is fabulous for a cool off. The garden of 5000m2 is completely private to the house and the quiet surroundings are peaceful with the sounds of birds, including the rare golden oriole.
