Beautiful home. Very clean and nice kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dish wear. The screen porch was awesome. Spent a lot of time out there. Beds were comfortable. If you had a question for the host she answered very fast. Easy to access. I would definitely rent this home again.

Our stay in SD was amazing. A beautiful state so much to see and do. The house is in a great location to all top attractions including Custer State park, Mt Rushmore, Badlands, Minute men Crazy horse, Devils tower, Spearfish & Deadwood . We even did the 4 hour drive to TR library in Medora Dakota.(worth the trip!) The house was very clean. Nicely stocked. Great layout. All the comforts of home. Close to shopping in downtown Rapid City. The host was responsive and provided great recommendations. Perfect place to stay after a full day exploring. Highly recommend.

Kitchen was fully equipped. House was clean and well maintained. Convenient to Rapid City and Black Hills sites. Plenty of patio seating, both an enclosed patio and outdoors. It was a quiet and peaceful location with deer walking through morning and evening. We would stay here again.

We stayed here for our annual girls' trip and had a lovely time. The house is exactly as described, with very comfortable beds, a spacious bathroom, and lots of room to spread out. Kathy, the host, lives on site and gave us a warm welcome, complete with great tourism tips! It was wonderful to be able to come back to this home base every day to clean off the trail dirt and relax. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful home base for exploring the Black Hills! Our family had a fantastic stay at this rental. It was exactly as described and immaculately clean. The host went above and beyond with thoughtful welcome touches; local coffee and a snack basket waiting for us on arrival. As a fun bonus, deer and rabbits visited the yard daily, which our family loved. The host was also incredibly helpful in sharing local tips and recommendations. The location couldn't have been more convenient as a base for day trips; we visited the Badlands, Wind Cave, Custer State Park, Mammoth Site, Deadwood, Crazy Horse Memorial, Roughlock Falls, Devils Tower, Mt. Rushmore, and the Petrified Forest, and everything was an easy drive from the house.Highly recommend this rental if you're planning a trip to the Rapid City area.

Family weekend

We got into town after dark and the host left the light on for us. The location is great - a few minutes out from town conveniences but feels much farther out. The house was super clean and cozy, perfect for my family of four. The host was available, helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

We totally enjoyed our stay. The home was in a very quiet area. And so clean and pretty. We especially enjoyed the outdoor areas. We saw deer right outside the window. Great location

We stopped in Rapid City as part of a 3 week vacation. So much to do and see in this area. The home makes you feel like you are at home. Kitchen well stocked so you can make a meal if you choose. We saw deer, bunnies and turkeys from the front window. We had a mishap on our dates and needed an extra day and host worked with us. Highly recommend this place!

Great stay!

We immensely enjoyed our stay. The house was great. Clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family. We had the amenities we needed to use it as a base as we explored the area. We cooked meals at the house, and grilled a couple times. Close distance to lots of activities. We also loved watching the wildlife in the front yard and walking through and exploring the backyard. It was easy to communicate with the manager of the house. Great stay! exploring the backyard.activities.

Perfect Home away from Home

We enjoyed our stay in Rapid City, and this house was a great Home base for us. We were able to quickly and easily get to lots of destinations (Mt. Rushmore, Reptile Gardens, the Watiki Waterpark, etc.) We loved that the house seemed removed from the city, and our kids loved walking in the trees and watching for all of the wildlife nearby (deer, turkey, lots of rabbits, and birds!) The house was beautiful and spacious. We were able to grill and cook some meals. And the beds were comfortable and worked fine for our family of 6. Kathy was easy to work with. Great place to stay!

Excellent Choice for Black Hills Getaway

We (two parents and two adult children) stayed here for four nights, and it was our home base for our Black Hills excursions. Although in western Rapid City (10 minutes from downtown and a few minutes from a large grocery store), it feels like you are further removed from the city and in the Hills. We saw mule deer, white tail deer, and wild turkeys wandering through the yard every morning. The home itself was beautiful and perfect for us: an exceptionally clean and comfortable space with unexpected hospitality amenities (coffee, snacks, etc). If you plan to use the three season room, you might want to bring some comfortable camp chairs as there are only two chairs in the room. We actually used this space a lot, so we are glad we brought our two collapsible camp rockers.Without hesitation we would book this home again if we wanted the convenience of Rapid City on a Black Hills vacation. This really is a gem and highly recommended.
