I had a wonderful stay the place was way bigger than I anticipated. Would easily fit a small family. Very peaceful and cozy i had the fire humming both nights of my stay It was the main reason I chose the place. Would definitely stay again again. Everything is a short drive away but far enough to have that out of town feel which i loved. Tom is such a nice person and we had some cool yarns.

Our host, Tom made us feel welcomed and couldn't do enough for us but gave us the space to enjoy ourselves. As for the accommodation, very comfortable and suitable for small groups like ours or a family looking for a farm experience.

The host was a very interesting soul. Very welcoming. Nice quiet comfortable stay. Meeting Tom was one of highlights of trip to NZ.

I was a little wary when booking about being under the one roof in separate self contained accommodations in relation to privacy, but the owner Tom welcomed us, made sure we were comfortable and left us to it, he is quite the character and knows a lot about the local area. This was probably one of the most welcoming properties we went to, with all the coffee supplies, soaps, shampoos and extras that really is old school hospitality where we really did feel like welcomed quests.

Brilliant

Quiet, comfortable accommodation in a rural setting not that far from the town centre. It was a delight to meet Tom and hear of his many exploits. We would happily stay again

Grants Farm

our 2 nights accommodation was well accommodated by Tom Grants B&B with private 2 bedroom unit and spectacular views of the farm, hills and pine trees. Our boys enjoyed the toys and books. Very peaceful and quiet area, with a fireplace, heaters, warm cosy beds. Tom made sure we always came back to a warm house! Definitely returning here!
