About the host
Hosted by Sarah
Some of our best memories have been made here, long lunches that ran into the evening, kids and animals everywhere, family and friends all under one roof with nowhere else to be. That's the thing we most want people to have.
We travel a lot, and the trips that stay with us are never really about the place. They're about who was there and having enough time and space to actually be together. This property is set up for exactly that.
So when we're away, we open it up to groups. We're local, we're contactable, and we'd much rather you asked than wondered — whether it's where to eat or organising the horses.
Why they chose this property
Robin Hill gives you the thing that's hard to find, genuine space and quiet, only a short drive from town.
It's paddocks and open sky at night, but you're still close enough that dinner in Bathurst, a wine trip out to Orange, or a run up Mount Panorama are all easy. You get the country without being stranded in it.
The Central West gets a lot of visitors for race weekends and events, but the country itself is worth the drive on any weekend of the year.
What makes this property unique
Two separate homes on one gated property, with three kitchens between them.
Most places that sleep large groups do it by packing everyone into a single house. Twenty-six people, one kitchen, one living room, and a queue for the bathroom every morning. Here your group has two self-contained homes plus an outdoor kitchen, so people can spread out, cook at different times, and put the kids to bed away from a late night.
Then there's the rest of it: an outdoor swim spa, animals the kids can help feed, and stables with an arena if you're travelling with horses, which almost nowhere offers.
It's four private acres behind a gate. Once you're in, the place is yours.
