About this property

La Maisonnette

309503. Living in this little house is a delight. Small and cute, it's perfect for romantic stay or family vacations. With its private entrance, you will feel at home. Unique and rare house in Old Quebec, you will live in complete privacy and in great calm. It's a little paradise in all seasons.
This charming little detached house was once a typical stable of old Quebec. Now on the ground floor the kitchen, dining room and living room are open concept. There is the sofa bed. The underfloor heating makes this space very cozy in winter. Upstairs are 2 comfortable and intimate bedrooms, each with a Queen bed. There is also the bathroom and washer dryer. A jewel of tranquility ideally located next to the famous Château Frontenac, which will allow you to find the apartment very easily after a walk in the neighborhood.
The location is very central, in the Upper Town, 2 minutes from the charming Dufferin terrace where the view is remarkable over the St. Lawrence River. Dufferin Terrace and its fairytale castle are two attractions that never cease to amaze visitors and locals alike, offering spectacular views of the St. Lawrence River and its ever-changing icescapes in winter and of sailboats in summer. The street is very quiet but you are in the heart of tourist activity and everything can be done on foot. Excellent restaurants are within walking distance.

I like to travel and stay for a while in the same city or village. I like to receive my guests and participate in their stay in Quebec City by offering them an apartment that gives them a change of scenery.

Why they chose this property

I chose this area because it is very central. Located in the Upper Town there is also more light and proximity to very beautiful views of the river. From St-Denis Street or Terrasse Dufferin. There is more space than in the Lower Town where the houses are closer together and the streets are narrower. In my opinion in the Old Quebec it's the better place to be. Life is good in this part of the walled City.

What makes this property unique

Living in this little house is a delight. It's quiet and we sleep well there. At the same time the tourist activity is on the next street. It is beautiful and reminds me of a doll's house. All the girls in my family love it. It's a house and that's rare in old Quebec. It is a very intimate and private place. We feel good there.
