The first question asked if we were happy with our stay and I pushed the wrong star. It would not let me go back to change it, So, 5 stars all around. Just two suggestions, the barbecue was really dirty, so should be cleaned after each guest. Also, it would be nice to have a small table and chairs on the deck to eat meals at. Also, I think I read that the house allows 8 guests. But there are 3 bedrooms, so 6 people. , then the last bedroom has 4 beds, so 4 more people. That would be 10 people. Is that what the house allows, or is it 8 and if 8, can you add 2 more for a fee? Other than that 5 stars all around. It has such a beautiful view. Other than that, 5 stars all around.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Disliked: Location
House is presentable and clean, but dated. Check-in and check-out was simple and smooth. Was surprised that this was rated as highly on VRBO. Things just generally didn’t work (coffee machine, no remote for the master bedroom TV, arcade machine etc.)There is no AC and it was incredibly hot throughout the stay. One of the sliding doors didn’t work and you couldn’t get enough air into the house.Location is also almost as far up the hill from incline, while still technically being incline.
Our family loved this wonderful home.Clean and welcoming. Had everything we needed in the kitchen and more. The hot tub was super clean and new. I’m a pool guy and that means a lot to me.Our family will definitely be staying again.Host responded immediately to all messages.Best ever time in Lake Tahoe.Robert A
Our experience at Moontain House was fantastic! The cleanliness was excellent as was the location. It was well equipped with every thing we needed including detergent pods for the laundry and dishes, utensils, and plenty of towels. We enjoyed using the sauna, hot tub and using the fire pit for s'mores. Definitely a five star experience! Will be back in the near future!

Love it
this home was soooo nice big updated FULLY stocked I will most definitely be booking again
This is a beautiful home at the top of Incline Village, nestled among tall pines at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with a fabulous partial view of the lake. The home is clean and comfortable. Having a garage is really nice as well. The three downstairs bathrooms all have been recently remodeled with high-end fixtures and finishes - very luxurious! The kitchen is a bit dated, but plenty functional and well-equipped. I didn't really eat-in and took advantage of local dining options. The refrigerator is new and very nice. Same model as I have at home, lol. One thing for me - and everybody is different, but the king mattress in the primary suite didn't work for my back, so I felt like Goldilocks when I switched to a different bedroom the second night with a mattress that was more my style. (I have a firm latex European Sleepworks mattress at home which has a unique way of cushioning.) Just thought I'd let other guests know that there are plenty of beds in the house and there's probably one that fits your needs. Fortunately, the hot tub the next morning really helped my back. The sauna in the evening helped me relax before bedtime and I scored higher than usual sleep scores on my Fitbit app. The Wi-Fi is fast and easy and I was able to get some work done as needed. There's a hiking trail right outside the door that has amazing views. All in all a wonderful break from the daily routine.
This is a beautiful home. Check in was easy, the property owner is very responsive to questions, and he didn't ask us to do dishes, laundry, or clean bathrooms on our way out. We did start a load of towels for them anyway! This property had everything we were looking for - lots of space (we had 7 people and it never felt crowded), beautiful, upgraded bathrooms (my husband loved the Toto toilet), a hot tub that was sparkling clean, a fire pit, and a well stocked kitchen. Two bedrooms have queens, the master has a king, and the 4th bathroom has two bunk beds that are a single over a double each. Lots of space! The neighborhood is quiet and at the very top of the hill. Convenient to Incline Village. Everything was clean and there were lots of little extra touches that are so appreciated when you're on vacation - plenty of toilet paper, dishwasher tabs, beach towels, washing machine soap, paper towels, etc.If I had to pick one thing to find fault with, it's advertised as having a lake view but it doesn't really. You CAN see a small wedge of the lake through some trees when you're on the main level, but it's not exactly an amazing, exceptional view. It's just a small thing and all of the other perks to the house far outweigh the lack of a grand view. Overall, this house is fabulous and you won't be disappointed!
This property is very well equipped, with photos that are accurate and up to date. The manager was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We loved the nice furnishings, separate spaces in the living areas, beautiful new bathrooms and hot tub and the quiet neighborhood of lovely homes. There is a bit of a lake view and just an 8 minute drive to groceries and the lake shore. 15 minutes to wonderful Sand Harbor, a favorite spot on the lake (reservations required and 10 parking fee but well worth it).
The host was accommodating and helpful. We enjoyed our stay!

Amazing house
Truly loved our stay. The house is a perfect blend of modern touches like the baths and the appliances but with homey, cabin feeling. We had a blast with the hockey game and everything is even nicer than in the pictures
