The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:

Load and start the dishwasher

Gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

If leaving on a Sunday please leave trash and recycling in the bin woth the flag up. Garbage and recycling is picked every Monday morning at 8am. Any leftover garbage must be taken with you.

Any extra waste must be taken with you to a local dump and disposed of. Leaving food waste behind generates bad smells for the next guests and attracts wildlife.

Look in the guestbook fornlocal dumps locations and hours. Checkout is 10am sharp so the cleaner has time to prep for the next guests. Lock all doors and turn off all lights and TV's.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

My family really enjoyed staying here and the host was very accommodating. The property is close to a few beaches and not a far drive to see the National Park. The house had plenty of privacy, the neighbors were quiet, and it had everything we needed.

We had a lovely stay. The location is great for hiking the Bruce Trail. The property is very clean and well maintained. The owner has provided everything needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The owner answered all our queries promptly. I would highly recommend this property.

Clean, modernly renovated, and lots of amenities. It was a comfortable stay and the perfect location in the middle of the places we wanted to visit. As another guest mentioned, you’re paying 200 for a cleaning fee, then need to take the garbage to the dump if not leaving on garbage day. Would still very much recommend this stay with these hosts.

Because our cottage is in a rural area with limited municipal collection schedules and active local wildlife, waste cannot safely be left outside between turnover days when check-outs don't align with local pickup. The cleaning fee directly covers a deep professional clean and sanitization of the property between visits, but we completely understand that a dump run feels like an unwelcome chore on check-out morning. ​We are actively exploring better turnkey solutions with our local team so departures are seamless for our guests. Thank you again for taking great care of our place, and we'd be delighted to host you again anytime!

We enjoyed our time at the cabin, very clean and comfortable, close proximity to parks and Tobermory. Even a nice quiet beach only a short drive away. Would highly recommend!

Great location! 30 min from Tobermory & the Grotto, 15 min from Lion‘s Head, 5 min from Stokes Bay beach. John is really responsive and the cottage is clean and really well stocked with clear instructions. Our family had a great time! Be sure to reserve parking for the provincial and National parks and book boat cruises to Flowerpot island well ahead of your visit. All of them are well worth the visit, you won’t be disappointed.

The house is clean and with all essentials. The location is only 30 min from Lion's Lookout, the Grotto and Tobermory. The neighbourhood is very nice. I got free worm, free fish and free vege from neighbours. Really love them

Incredible home in a great spot. Big, beautiful, fully stocked kitchen and bbq setup. Three bedrooms, with a spacious common area. Outdoor fire pit. Lots of board games, outdoor activities like bocce ball, volleyball, etc. and a fire pit. Very quiet at night, under an astonishing star-y night sky. Also, loved the layout of the home, will keep it in mind if I opt to build one :)

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean with ample of space (we were 4 adults). The location is perfect and near all major natural attractions in the peninsula. We enjoyed the fact that the cottage was in a quiet and natural surroundings. I would recommend it to anyone with no hesitation.

Chalet extrêmement propre ayapatgaig

Nous sommes un famille de deux adultes et deux enfants. Nous avons adoré le chalet. Il était extrêmement propre. Je loue régulièrement des chalets et ce dernier était le plus propre que nous avons loué. Il y avait tout le nécessaire pour la cuisine et même plus (en très bon état également). Il y avait des jouets pour les enfants et du matériel pour la plage (parasol, chaises).
