We had a wonderful time, the house is old and has character. The property is tucked away in a beautiful location. It's about 10 minutes from town. The house is well stocked with everything you need. If you need a place to unwind and relax, this is the place. We were very comfortable and happy with our stay.
The host was incredible to work with. We were a family of 11, the house was perfect. We were able to go kayaking, crabbing, and spend sometime in the pool. You can't swim in the river because of the crabs, eels, and sea nettles, but the pool is heated and a refreshing break from kayaking and crabbing. There were 2 kayaks and 1 double kayak available to use! Easy to get in the water with them as well. The host was always available to answer any questions we had.

Great retreat
The house is perfect for a family or friends reunion. Large, spacious and private. It overlooks the water and has a large lawn to enjoy birdwatching, sunsets, games, grilling or eating. The owner provides kayaks to explore the inlet. She very is helpful and accommodating.

Awesome house and location
This house was perfect for our stay in town for the Ironman race. Definitely would stay again! Owner is top notch and provides everything you would need.
Our host met us upon arrival and showed us the property explaining everything we needed to know in great detail. The property was clean, well maintained and matched the information as advertised. The furnishings were exquisite and the rooms were very tastefully decorated. The beds had quality mattresses and provided the highest level of comfort one could hope for. We all slept extremely well throughout our stay. The house is unique, has lots of character and plenty of space inside and out for numerous guest. Our two daughters spent one night together in the separate efficiency suite the night before our oldest daughter’s wedding so that was very special to have that option. This property is a remote paradise. It provided a luxury stay for my wife and I, our two daughters and several members of the bridal party. We all had ample space and privacy yet the property had such an intimate charm. Being on the bank of the Hudson Creek provides great views and memorable sunrises and sunsets. The beautiful view adds so much value. No bugs although the backyard bordered directly on the creek. The dock and fire pits were our favorite places to hang out and are some of the best features of the property. The pool was immaculate and refreshing. Plenty of room for parking. We all loved our stay and highly recommend it to others. It’s an exceptional value. Francesca is a very special and world-class hostess. We all want to come back.

It was SUCH a pleasure to host Harry and his lovely family! And my honor to be able to contribute in my own way to the success of such important life milestone, wish the happy couple all the best in their life together and sincerely hope our paths cross again!
Francesca was the most amazing host! She met us at the door and personally walked through every detail of the house. Such a sweet lady. The house had everything we could want for our group of 12, and so comfortable. It is beyond charming and completely captures the history and feel of the Eastern shore. I highly recommend the stay
