Little Gem

We lucked out found this listing. Fantastic house, great location in a gorgeous neighbourhood. The hottub was fabulous, the house is comfy, beds were great and was like a home away from home. Well be booking again if we’re in town.

Although the inside was clean the outside was not. Grass was 2 feet tall. Empty cans by the hot tub from previous tenants. The hot water tank was shut off when I got there so that wasn’t resolved until the next day. The key pad battery died half way through my 2 week stay. After three days of texting back-and-forth, the batteries were finally changed. I had to leave the house without locking it because the battery was completely dead. I also tried to change my check out date more than a month before my arrival. The host said he would do that for me but never did. I have proof of conversation with host stating he would change my check out date but he never did. I am now in the process of trying to get refunded for the night I was not there. VRBO has not been helpful at all. According to Vrbo‘s own rules, I had to do it through the host and because the host could not figure out how to change it he just never did. The outside of the property was terrible and very unkept. The inside was clean, but it’s just dated and just poorly maintained. I did very much enjoy the hot tub and that was the only reason I booked the house.
