Highly recommended hotel.

An amazing hotel room, very spacious and with a rain forest outside the patio doors. The staff were excellent. My only criticism is driving to our cabin as the road is narrow, but if you take care it’s not a problem.

Very friendly managers and check in was quick and pleasant and we were given lots of information about the town and restaurants. Parking was easy and the hotel is close to everything. Beautiful room, the fire place was such a nice touch on a cold day in Franz Josef. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it ton anyone wanting a great stay in Franz Josef.

A very friendly and helpful manager greeted us at reception. The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Heating was a bonus as was a good kitchen and lounge area.

I absolutely loved this place! The rear sliding glass door lead to what felt like my own private rainforest. The room had amenities to make your own meals, an electric fireplace and a lovely bathtub with jets which is rare! I’d absolutely recommend this place!

The only negative was the heat was still ON when it was already hot and stuffy outside. No AC so we didn’t have the greatest sleep. Otherwise a very nice place to stay for the night. Right next to a TON of activities.

Only issue was our neighbors were chain smokers! You should have seen the bottle of butts. We couldn’t open our patio door very often. We ask the then to please smoke somewhere else. They were rude! Not from NX

This was a great motel, huge room. 11min drive from Franz Josef and 30m drive from Fox Glaciers! Would definitely recommend and stay again. Property was also great about arranging a late check in.
