This is not a 4 star hotel or residence by any standards. It just is big. It is tired in design with limited offerings. Restaurants and food isn’t exciting which is quite something for Italy. Swimming pool is basic and cold for an Alpine swimming. The residences are very basic. The lifts are old and noisy. We could barely sleep as our room backed into a lift shaft. Hotel staff didn’t care. The La Thuile ski areas are great with many nice wide runs. The hotel and residences are well placed for ski in / ski out.

Good location but car park is a dark maze

We arrived at 1530, for a 1700 check in and the hotel was utter chaos. Cars everywhere on the ramp causing congestion with no way past. Eventually got into the car park and lugged all our stuff into reception by 1545. The reception area was like a zoo. Bags, skis, and people everywhere. We were eventually seen and told our room would be ready in 30 minutes and to go back. 30 minutes later, I went back and was ignored by 4 receptionists who just kept walking past. Eventually the original guy I spoke to turned up, and our room still wasnt ready. It was finally ready at 1715. The instructions to get to our room were incomprehensible and involved walking back through the dark dingy maze that was the underground car park, to find a random lift that even the receptionist didn't know how to find. Amazingly we found it and got to our room. Room was big and clean but the bathroom was tiny. Anyone with more than a 36" waist would not be able to fit in the shower. The room was quite cold too, even with the thermostat turned right up. Good location though, close to lifts and very centrally located.

This was an odd property really, the rooms had been renovated somewhat but beds were uncomfortable, sofas were old and stained and it felt like the renovation was a bit half hearted, the lifts are old and clunky and the whole area was very noisy, we could nt check in until 6 either. If you just want a bed it’s ok but otherwise I would book something else.

Great value ski accommodation

Stayed in the residence - self catered apartments - which have been nicely modernised over the last few years. Basic setup but has everything you need for a ski trip , and the property is right next to the lifts so virtually ski-in, ski-out. Value for money can’t be beaten anywhere in the alps. Decent choice of bars and restaurants in the vicinity and the wider town.

Nice accommodation and location

Great location and apartments. Ski lift is literally 100 metres away. Few things which could have been better were not having to pay for the pool area which seemed crazy and the friendliness of the staff in the bar area who always seemed unfriendly.

SĂ©jour de 2 nuits en studio, un appartement dans l’ensemble refait Ă  neuf cependant la literie n’est pas bonne, l’insonorisation est quasi inexistante, manque quelques commoditĂ© de base (Ă©ponge, torchon, liquide vaisselle) et rĂ©frigĂ©rateur trĂšs bruyant. La localisation est idĂ©ale pour La Thuile, lieu trĂšs sympa mais des choses sont Ă  revoir.

Struttura esterna in precarie condizioni, i lift non hanno un sistema di sicurezza quando qualche cosa rimane tra le porte non si riaprono ma continuano a chiudersi. Posteggi interni mal gestiti. Sembra di essere in un cantiere. Tromba delle scale tra posteggio interno e residence pieni di rifiuti. Appartamenti belli e pratici. Pocco puliti (sporco sotto i letti).

ArrivĂ©s Ă  17h , la chambre n 'est pas prĂȘte , on me demande de revenir dans 10 minutes .... 10 minutes plus tard , on me demande de revenir dans 20 minutes ....personnel tres dĂ©sagrĂ©able, autain , Ă  vĂ©rifier mon identitĂ© plusieurs fois . bref , nous arrivons enfin dans la chambre qui est minuscule . Mes enfants souhaitent aller se baigner , mais l'entrĂ©e Ă  la piscine est Ă  12 euros par personne ! en+ des 420 pour 2 nuits !!!et Ă  ce prix lĂ  il faut en + faire le mĂ©nage. trĂšs déçu du rapport qualitĂ© / prix

We stayed in residence part of the complex. Apartment nicely remodelled in an otherwise outdated context. Position is ideal for skiers as it is just across the street from pistes and from the gondola taking you up. Some minor complains about some personnel at the desk not really prodigal in information (we had to ask someone else). One disappointong fact. From the description on the Hotels website it seems that pool, gym,.. are included, but it is not so. While it is coorectly reported that parking must be payed extra, I invite the web manager to clearly state that these services are to be payed and must be reserved in one hour slots for 12 euros/hour (not quite a cheap price).
