A very safe place with a friendly staff. Not the best location to walk around for sight seeing or food if you have never been to Costa Rica, but if you are looking for a easy stay within San Jose this is a great place to be.

I’ve stayed here several times. The room was great but the location this time was near the road and was noisy. The previous times the room wasn’t close to the road. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. Those are the most important things to me. Great price.

The hotel does not look at all as advertised. It is very worn down. There were roaches crawling around in the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room area. When I finally told the management I was told they could move me to another room. At that point if you have roaches in one room, surely they are in another so I declined. Pests like roaches are very unsanitary and should not be in a hotel. Then they declined my request for a refund even though I checked out early because I didn’t want to be in a hotel with roaches. Worse experience ever.
