We stayed for 7 nights in a one bedroom apartment. Unfortunately the apartment was very "tired" Handle was broken off the fridge. We had to wedge a piece of cardboard into the main door to stop it rattling in the wind. The TV remote didn't work properly and the bug guard on the balcony door was broken. Also the cooker had rust at the bottom and several areas were dirty. It's such a shame as the location and view over the lake are excellent. The apartment clearly needs a lot of money spending on it to bring up to an acceptable standard.

Unfortunately not what it used to be.

Have previously stayed here on two occassions pre Covid. Property has certainly disimproved. A lot of the furniture was shabby and requires replacement. The property was not clean and suitable for guests. Cockroaches found in bedroom and bathroom.

I stayed two times in blue haron the first time was comfy and nice , second time was very bad, i came from a very long trip and i wanted to rest and I couldn’t do that because of construction noise around me for my whole stay, second bad thing i hated in my stay that i have recived a letter package that blue Heron made me pay 5 dollars. And the most thing i was frustrated about that i had to pay $45 for them to clean my room after my check out, i stayed for 11 nights and their policy is no one clean your room unless u pay for it, i dont think i will stay there again.

This is my third visit and slightly disappointed. I think the hotel is in a great location but i wasnt aware that we had no house keeping for the entire 14 days. It would make me think over my options before booking at the blue heron again. The front staff were excellant and very helpful.

This is such a find in Orlando - close to the parks and to restaurants and shopping, easy and free parking, friendly welcome desk and easy booking process. The pool area is fantastic - large pool which is heated and a lovely temperature, clean and plenty of loungers. The boardwalk at the edge of the lake is a really nice addition and we enjoyed the very warm spa jacuzzi. We liked that it is open 7am to 11pm and beautifully lit at night. Our apartment on floor 9, number 905 (a 1-bed plus bunks) was really spacious, well-equipped, clean and very comfortable. We had everything we needed; great air con, comfy beds and linens, huge fridge and freezer and a washer/dryer. The balcony had a stunning view of the lake and pool area which we loved. Slight downsides; some of the fittings and furnishings were a little tired, but they worked and were clean. If you are after top notch, luxury interiors you may be disappointed, but we found it suited us perfectly and compared well to other Orlando resorts including Hilton Vacation Suites and Marriott. Overall, we would return in a heart beat to the Blue Heron and recommend it to friends and family who want to have a good, clean base for enjoying all that Orlando has to offer.

Large apartments, close to all the action!

Large apartments with kitchen, including washing machine & dryer. All areas spacious, including balcony overlooking lake. Large master bedroom en-suite with walk in wardrobe. Twin room plus additional bunk room area and sofa bed, if required. Family bathroom. Helpful staff on front desk. Ample on-site parking. Two pools and pool bar serving drinks and snacks. Great boardwalk to edge of lake with chairs and wooden gazebo.

Good location

We have stayed at this property for a number of years now and have generally found it to be suitable for our needs. On the evening of arrival things were spoken about to improve our experience. However, by the following morning the agreement had been changed. Considering we were repeat customers (5-6 years) we found this very disappointing.
