Margaret was very friendly and informative about the town and the festival. The house was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying at her cottage.

Fantastic!
We stayed for 2 nights and loved it. The location was great as we could walk everywhere and Margaret was so easy the communicate with. The lodge was spotless and the kitchen was well equipped. We would definitely stay again.

Great views and location.
Outstanding place, clean, well presented and comfy with fantastic views. Would definitely stay here again as the host was very helpful. There’s lots of stuff in the place you need. If your mobility isn’t great though speak to the place first as access via the path and steps might not be great.
Great location for our needs (local running race), but great base to explore the area and all the amenities you need. We have stayed here a couple of times now and love our weekend away in Jedburgh!
We had a wonderful stay at Larkhall Burn. Fantastic view over the village and surrounding nature. Treatment from host were excellent. We will not hesitate to book this again.
We thought we had booked a room for three - it turned out to be a whole house! Very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and nice sitting and dining area. Two internal flights of stairs, so not suitable for guests with mobility issues. We stayed two nights. Hosts John and Margaret were wonderful and came and collected us when our walk had taken much longer than expected and we were tired and at the side of the A-road in the dark. We were a group of 10 so this involved three trips in their car - well above and beyond! Wonderful apples from the garden too - we are only sorry we were so late we missed the home-made cake!
Lovely four night stay. Owners are extremely friendly and helpful, the cottages are up a hill so not the easiest if you have mobility issues but clean and tidy and very comfortable with great views over Jedburgh. hope to visit again soon.
Fabulous accommodation, looks like a beach house in the town, everything within walking distance, very well looked after and well appointed with just about everything you could need, lovely bedding and towels, comfy sofa, dining table, and patio furniture, our only small niggle was that the bed was very hard. Would recommend to anyone wishing a bit of a break in the lovely borders
Everything was good except the bed. Mattress was far too hard and as I have got arthritis in my knees and because there was no support behind my knees which I do get with my own memory foam mattress at home this exacerbated my condition hugely. As we have also experienced lots of other places we have stayed whether hotel or self catering the quilts on the beds are always far too warm which was the same here.
This property should not advertise that they have wifi as neither my husband's or my phone or our fire stick could pick up any in the property. We could see from our window that there was some sort of aerial on the chimney of the proprietors house but unless they actually put the wifi in each property then they should stop advertising that there is wifi present as it was non-existant.
