It was modern, in pristine condition and clean. There was onsite parking and the facilities were excellent, including washing machine (with powder provided), dryer, ironing board, steam iron that steamed, large flat screen TV, comfortable bed, good WiFi, excellent shower and a small secluded balcony. We can't find anything to fault it. There is a supermarket within 5 mins walking and restaurants with 10-15 mins walking.

The property is a short walk to the centre and a supermarket, pharmacy and petrol station yards away. Spacious accommodation with the advantage of a washing machine and tumble dryer. Comfortable bed, too.

Well equipped and comfortable studio apartment

A comfortable, clean and well equipped little studio apartment, just a couple of minutes walk from the harbour front at Strahan. Friendly greeting from the owner. Own laundry facilities in the apartment, kitchenette, wifi, tv, - all we needed for a short stay. Views are unremarkable, but it is quiet with its own balcony seating. A good place to stay in Strahan unless you value a harbour-front view. Would recommend to friends and family.

Best stay of our trip

What a find! Excellent hosts. Absolutely perfect location - so easy to walk to waterfront and all the activities. And we loved the loft room - so well equipped, really comfortable and spacious. We wished we could have stayed more than 2 nights. Can honestly say it is best B&B so far in our trip. Thank you! (Oh, and thanks again for those gorgeous cookies when we got back on 2nd evening.)

A little gem in Strahan

A very pleasant and quiet location in the beautiful small town of Strahan. There is a short quite steep walk up from the harbour but it only takes about 10mns. Breakfast cereals, a large carton of milk are provided apart from the usual tea and coffee and the large room also has washer and dryer. No need to hunt around for change. An incredibly relaxing stay.

Aloft was like a home away from home. It has many amenities that made our stay so comfortable. The owner Annie kindly provided us with instructions to get there. We love the ability to have a washing machine and dryer. Even a dishwasher was there but we didn't use.

A great place to stay for a few days while exploring the area. Very well equipped with everything you need for cooking- loved the coffee maker! Had a washer and dryer so I could do laundry and get everything done for the next part of my trip. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay

Had a fantastic 3 night stay here. Annie was terrific and made sure we had everything we needed. She gave us tips on what sites to see and where to eat. The accommodation was close to town, just up the road from the BP and local IGA. It was very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend staying here.

This was a great place to stay. Very comfortable with everything you could want and plenty of space and very clean. The host communicated prior to our stay to check if we needed anything and when we were arriving. I was able to organize an early check-in as I had a zoom meeting which would have been very difficult otherwise. Also excellent internet!

A very comfortable space with lots of thoughtful homely touches. Comprehensive info provided in compendium with good kitchen facilities, wifi and smart TV. We visited in winter and struggled with the cold, subzero overnight temps. The reverse cycle aircon was not up to the job, but probably ok in warmer times. A good option for those self-catering, easy walk to the harbourfront and 100m from IGA supermarket.
