We had a wonderful stay at Alpine Resort Wānaka. Our 3 bedroom unit was perfect for our family of 5. Had an issue with fire but it was repaired early next day. Highly recommend

The property was very noisy. The build was on the cheap and shows. Big issue was the neighbour was upstairs and the noise transfer between the units was bad. TV was almost unusable as no reception. Not many cars would fit in the garage as the opening was tight.

Incredible!

What an incredible place to stay! My husband and I booked here very last minute (10 minutes before showing up) and were greeted warmly at reception. They even gave us a free upgrade! It was a beautiful, very nicely updated 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with a full balcony overlooking the town, the lake, and the mountains. It had so many nice features, like heated floors in the bathrooms, in-unit washer and dryer, a fireplace, and the whole back wall in the living room and dining area opened up to the balcony. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and the beds were comfortable. The amenities on the property, like the pool and the hot tub, were lovely. This was an incredible place to stay and we can't wait to return!

There were just little things. Most of the rubbish bins were broken. Tissues hidden in the living room. No shelf in the shower for soap, etc. Not many shelves in bathroom. Othwise, lots of room and good TV.

Nice place, friendly and professional people. HOWEVER, the same cannot be said for WOTIF: this agency is non-communicative and ignores emails. If you have a booking issue, cancellation or similar, don't hold your breath waiting for WOTIF to respond: they won't. The hotel's advice is: they, themselves cannot deal with bookings made directly with WOTIF: fair enough. Based on our experience, we wont book anything through WOTIF / EXPEDIA.

Great for families.

Nice big property and good facilities. Plenty space for us all and good kitchen. Let down by drafty single glazing and blinds that let car lights shine into bedroom. Road noise was quite loud.

We were in a bottom unit and it was noisy. The first night we had to listen to kids noisily running on the floor above us. Same thing in the morning. We could even hear the toilet flushing. The second night we had to hear a couple having sex. The unit didn’t look anything like the on-line pictures. It was dirty and beat up. The shower stall had a moldy drain, mold at the base and mold on the tile grout. The carpet was worn in places and the unit was dark. Inadequate lighting: the only lighting was bright ceiling lights. Not recommended.
