Lovely stay . We asked for a higher floor and this was accommodated . Same room as a previous stay which we were delighted with . Gorgeous sea view . Wi fi has been massively improved which is great. Spacious suite and we had a late check in which was no issue . Also appreciated the luggage storage on check out as we had a later flight . Peaceful location and gorgeous beach strolls up to Palm Cove or Trinity Beach . Bus stop close by for easy access into Cairns . Pool was perfect temperature to be able to cool off after a hot day . Super comfy bed / pillows .

Wonderful place to stay

Brilliant place to stay. Spacious, really well equipped, very comfortable, no unwarranted intervention from owners, but they're there if you need them. Beautiful pool, right on the beachfront, absolutely lovely, thank you John and Sheree 😊

Lovely view from the beachfront apartment . Beautiful tropical gardens around the pool area . Quiet location , easy walk to the bus stop / local shops . Quick check in . The only downside was the weak wifi however this is in the process of being updated and I would happily stay again

Lovely stay at Agincourt, helpful and very friendly staff, beautiful pool area and wonderfully quiet. Apartments are bright and spotlessly clean and very well equipped.

We stayed for 5 nights and couldn’t fault if you want a very quiet breakaway. Very clean & comfortable. Quite rightly, the whole property is no smoking and a designated smoking area or an ashtray/bin would be appreciated. The area & beach is stunning. Highly recommended

Secret hidden place

The place is v nice clean self service and acquaint. V good for family's as well plenty of shops and abd off u have ur car ores 25 min drive to cairns city. Also the place it's self is well equiped to much of your needs. I loved it v much and when i visit the area again i will definitely book it again. The beach is just there infront of u u hear the waves ask the times, that was v comforting for me as i love in major city.

Beachfront apartment

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for a couple of nights, it was extremely peaceful and in a great location. Close enough to walk to shops and cafes/restaurants. Unfortunately the sea was not inviting and we was unable to swim due to the time of year. However the beach was still beautiful. The staff were exceptional and very friendly. Would definitely recommend any age group to stay here, fabulous place.

Lovely apartments right on the beach.

These apartments are excellent and in a great location. The pool is delightful, calm and surrounded by beautiful gardens. There is an area for barbecuing which is perfect. The people in reception could not have been more helpful to us. There are not many shops or restaurants close by so we took a bus (which stops vey close) to Palm Cove in the evenings. The nearest shopping centre is a 25 minute walk away. We would definitely stay here again.

Idyllic Few Days

Wow exceeded our expectations and will definitely return. How lovely to be able to sit on the balcony and hear and watch the waves rolling onto the sand and the rissoles of the breeze on the beautiful coconut palm trees. It is a perfect location 20 min walk along the beach path to Palm Cove and the same distance to the Clifton Shopping Centre with Coles, Target etc. The local restaurant just 10 min walk from the apartment Coco Mojo is first class their Singapore Bugs are not to be missed - lovely ambience, great staff and delicious unusual food beautifully presented. We loved the tropical gardens and barbecue area around the sparkling large pool. Added bonus is that the reception also sell reasonably priced beers, wines and cards. They are also able to provide Airport Transfers, Hire Cars and Tours.

We had a great stay thank you. The apartments have been updated since last time we stayed. It is a great place and we prefer the Northern Beaches to being based in Cairns. The managers were friendly. It was a little more noisy since the last stay and the clean after the first week was cursory. Otherwise, we would recommend.

place for relaxing beach holiday

Apartment was clean & of a good size. Additional cost of services such as Wi fi & clean towels was considered expensive. Staff helpful during stay & friendly. A good place to stop if you want a relaxing beach holiday or wish to use as base to explore local area but you do need a car to get to restaurants both local & further afield

Ideally positioned in lovely quiet Clifton Beach.

We normally go all inclusive, but on this occasion we decided to stay SC at the Agincourt. Which was a great decision. As our reason for going to OZ was to visit our daughter and our 20 month old grandson. Who lived only five minutes away We were there for 21 nights and our daughter visited us every day,her son played in the heated pool. He loved every minute of it. We spent lots of time playing on the lovely beach across the quiet road. We visited the lovely resort of Palm Cove, a 20 minute walk along the beach or a five minute drive from Clifton Beach. Cairns waterfront esplanade is ideal. Swimming pool, kids playground, lots of nice places to eat. Very family orientated.

Perfect for that longer stay at the beach

These apartments are excellent.. Big and clean and well equipped. We did a few weeks in Oz and it was nice to be able to catch up with washing, cook a decent meal and generally get ourselves together for the rest of the trip. The location of the beach is spot on with the Coral Sea just outside the door and the pool and BBQ facilities are really nice.. Clifton Beach is a nice area and handy for all of the usual trips and sights for a visit to that area..

spotlessly clean apt across quiet road from beach.

very enjoyable .immaculately clean apt across quiet road from beach. everything you might need provided including washing powder for first wash and salt and pepper. very helpful staff. small quiet town very close to palm cove. waves in sea were a little strong in oct so may not be suitable for young children. netted swimming area further along beach during stinger season.

A brilliant place to stay!!

We stayed in Agincourt Apartments for just over two weeks & could not fault it in any way. From start to finish, we found the staff, especially Craig, to be extremely friendly & helpful. Whether it was general advice on the area, booking trips or sorting out a problem with a trip we didn’t even book through them, nothing was too much trouble. You get an allocated, shaded, parking space at the rear of the apartments so parking is never an issue. We chose to pay the extra for an apartment with a sea view & it was well worth the money – waking up & being able to sit on the balcony in the sunshine listening to the ocean was magical! The apartment itself was extremely clean, comfortable and very well equipped with cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, washing machine, tumble drier and everything else you could possibly need! In spite of there being three adults staying in the same apartment, we found it to be spacious even though we left the sofa bed (which was very comfortable) out throughout our stay. The apartment was serviced once a week & all the towels, linen etc replaced at that time. On arrival you were provided with enough basic items to last until you had time to go shopping. Although there are no shops in Clifton Beach, there is a Coles supermarket a short drive away. The garden & pool area is also a very pleasant area to sit & has its own BBQ section with tables etc. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Agincourt and found it to be excellent value for money.

How opinions change

When we stayed here eleven years ago the management was different, we enjoyed our stay. Apartment now very dated, rusty and broken appliances, also poorly furnished with knives etc. We had to ask for knives,pegs and coat hangers.Whole apartment needs to be stripped out and upgraded, at present not worth what we paid for the rental. Not enough loungers near to the pool to cater for visitors needs, some need to be replaced. Room only cleaned once a week and sheets changed not good enough for a tropical climate, previously changed twice a week. Wouldn't stay there again not 4 star, needs to do more work across all apartments to reach standard advertised on brochure, I told the manager that we weren't happy with the standard and that he should have informed us that our apartment didn't meet the same standard as others.

Friendly service

Very pleasant all round. Owners parents excellent and most helpful. Great location nearby shopping facilities. Need hire car. Great location next to beach and close for Cairns and further afield for Cape Tribulation. Only downside was wifi poor as in many areas in Oz.
