Convenient hotel by highway

Pleasant hotel with friendly staff. After reading other reviews I requested a room away from highway as I am a light sleeper and this was accommodated with a room upstairs looking over the courtyard.

Everything was OK

Free cold breakfast with Elmer's restaurant next to it, which has a great breakfast menu. Room was OK. Pool was super crowded.

Was perfect for our needs.

Started off with discovery that I'd booked wrong night. Thank goodness, the lovely receptionist,sorry I forgot her name(red head, Irish name) rectified it better than we could have hoped for. We were given a lovely,spacious,clean room. We had a deliciously good sleep, which is what we needed. We are on a long trip and this was definitely one of our best stops.

Very enjoyable.the staff were very friendly and informative.quiet location but a car was needed to get anywhere. Breakfast was average although the eating room was clean and tidy. Would use again if I was in the areaHoliday

Lovely stopover.

This inn surpassed our expectations. Lovely room and great shower. Very welcome after returning from Crater Lake. Would highly recommend it.

We arrived at the hotel to find the front door locked. There was a sign on the door saying that they are closed. Apparently forever. The Hampton Inn next door honored our reservation. I would have appreciated an email telling me this information.

I’m pretty bummed out. I stay in Roseburg a couple of times a year for the last 15 years. I have stayed several places and once I found the windmill inn, I haven’t been anywhere else. People are friendly, rooms clean and beds comfy. Also a decent breakfast. Can’t ask for much more. This last stay was terrible. Girl at the counter barely spoke to me, room was ok but smelled a little like garbage. Overall it seemed clean. The bed was really uncomfortable. Pillows rock hard and there was literally springs poking us in the back at night. At one point, I was nearly stabbed in the hand by a spring while I was getting out of bed. Come to find out, they are tearing the place down and moving to a Hilton being put up right next door. No wonder. I’m sure they aren’t investing in replacing anything and I suppose I am lucky it seemed pretty clean. Also, maybe 15 cars in the lot all night but they put me in a room next to storage so I was woken up at 6am by someone opening and closing a door and banging around on stuff in the storage closet. Well, after many years of being a great place, you have finally disappointed.
