A Decent Hotel with a Great View.

We had a good 3 night stay at the Abode Malua Bay. The room was a decent size and well equipped with a kitchenette and a washier and dryer in the bathroom. Everything was clean and all of the staff that we met were friendly and helpful. We opted for a room with a sea view which would have been great were it not for the workmen upgrading the park between the hotel and the beach! Nonetheless the balcony was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the view whilst having a coffee. The only real negative was that the rainfall shower turned the bathroom into a flood zone if used at anything more than a drizzle. Nonetheless we would not hesitate to stay at the Abode if in this area again in the future.

Wonderful.

This 2 week old Aparthotel was perfect. Very large bedroom, a kitchen with everything I needed, and a large balcony which looked out directly onto the sea. I would love to visit again. I would recommend.

Upon arriving, we thought our stay would be great and extended our stay for two extra nights. On the third day, it went from great to HORRIBLE. We were leaving for the day when the cleaning lady arrived. She asked if she could come in to clean, we agreed and within two minutes, we were out the door. When we returned, all she had done was remove our used towels and trash. She did not make the bed nor clean anything. We arrived back again after dinner and went to sleep, but woke up around 1:30 because it was so hot in our room. That's when we discovered the AC was broken. We called the main number and were offered NO APOLOGY, only told that there was no maintenance on call and we had to wait until 7:00. At 7:10, we called again to find out why no one had called us at 7 to arrange fixing. We were told no one would be here until 8. At 8, we called again and were told that the manager would be contacted. We waited, no manager, nothing. We went to the front desk. The response was "oh, no!" and were told that the manager wouldn't be in until 9 (no apology again). We asked the clerk to call the manager. He flat out refused. We asked when the maintenance was coming to fix it. "He's out sick today." We asked to be switched to another room. Nope. None available. We are sitting here in a holding pattern in a hot room. We slept unsafely with the balcony doors open and have bug bites all over us as that was the only choice we had.

Pleasure staying in my second Abode hotel. They seem to have the business model right. None of the expensive things you don't need, such as 24-hour room service. But big, modern rooms, friendly and helpful staff and a great location, right on the beach.

Abode Malua Bay, never disappoints. Regardless of how many times you have stayed there, it’s just as good every time! Watch the sunrise from your balcony with full ocean views - the best! The rooms - modern, clean, spacious, comfortable, stylish and a great layout. Away from the hustle of Batemans Bay (10min). So much quieter and the beaches - are better. Must go to McKenzies Beach (2min South of Abode on the main road)

Good quality hotel & great location

Beautiful location directly across from the beach, and the hotel itself is really nice. Really big sized rooms and balcony, and all the amenities. Only downside (& this is such a personal preference) is the bed - its SO soft and offers zero support that i didn’t get a decent night's sleep at all.
