Fantastic place to stay.

A fantastic place to stay, and a brilliant base for the sights of south Iceland. Friendly staff and the room itself had everything you could need for the price, plus a little bit more. Had to use the spare duvet as a pillow, as I like a firm pillow, but that's more personal preference.

The outdoor hot tub was a great feature, preparing us to the hot springs we have met later that trip. Good cabin. kitchen didn't have some general items like salt as those are being sold in the cabins store.

The cabbin was amazing very warm and comfortable , great hot tub although i think the snow needed clearing a bit more around the area to enter the hot tub , it was a bit dicy getting in and out . It did say it had a restaurant and bar both these where closed which would have been a big problem had we not taken food .nearest town is maybe 1hr return

Lovely peaceful and comfortable cabin

Great log cabin with private decking and hot tub area. Spacious cabin which included all the essentials in the kitchen. Great base to see thingvellir, kerid, geyser and gullfoss. Served food which was ok. We were lucky enough to see the Aurora duing our stay.

Fab. Loved this place no complaints at all saw the northern lights from outside the cottage . Is outside the town but not much there anyway . We were there in December and had to turn down the heating so it is really warm inside

Lovely just what we expected

Absolutely lovely picturesque place to stay, started in the smallest accommodation which was affordable and comfy. Simple but like a home from Home. We had no issues and will definitely be coming back. A perfect base central to a lot of attractions in the golden circle and a couple hours away from the black sand beach. Loved our stay! Very quirky cute accommodation and staff very helpful and friendly.
