Excellent position centrally located in the old town next to the Cathedrale di Sante Maria del Fiore (Duomo) - with friendly staff. The (small) rooftop terrace was a nice place to relax at the end of the day, and aircon worked!

We were at the Firenze rocks festival. Walked to the hotel which took slightly more than 30 minutes. The room was clean and big (it was 3 of us). Breakfast also food and several choices. Maybe the hotels. Reds a bit of updating (carpet on the floor, old decor) but still a great choice for one night. Very convenient too

Centrally placed so easy for visiting galleries et

we found it easy to navigate around Florence via the square. The Uffuzzi gallery, station (for a visit to PISA), the Galileo Museum, the Pointe Vecchio and Santa Croce Church (Galileo and Michelangelo are buried here) are all within 15 walk.

Best possible location for the Duomo and all sights in Florence. Cheap and cheerful, if you want the Hilton book it but if you are happy with a comfy bed and clean room in a central location you can't find better

Great hotel next to the Duomo.

This is a lovely hotel which literally opens out onto the piazza and Duomo. The hotel is clean, with friendly staff and breakfast included. It is a great location for accessing all the main sites in Florence, as well as the train station.

Nice hotel only one block away from the duomo.

Nice hotel one block away from the duomo. Simple straightforward 3*. Clean with well needed air-conditioning Decent breakfast however the coffee machine is very slow. The breakfast room does fill up quickly.

Great location in Florence

Never having been to Florence before we booked this hotel hoping for a central location and we were not disappointed. As you come out of the hotel you can see the Cathedral of Santa Maria Del Fiore opposite the entrance with many Piazzas in easy walking distance with plenty of places to eat and drink. The climb up to the Piazzale Michelangelo is worth it for the spectacular view over Florence.

Lovely staff!

Highly recommend this hotel - the central location is perfect for a short break in Florence. The decor is a bit dated, but the rooms are clean, the coffee is good and the staff are absolutely lovely.

The family running the hotel are not very personable and quite defensive at times of disagreement. My special request was not honored despite booking months in advance and sending reminder emails in the lead up to the trip. Luckily, this turned out okay because I was flexible enough to agree to abandon it. There were numerous small, extra costs and charges not expected.

Fantastic location

Very close to the Duomo and other main attractions. You will hear the church bells ringing at 7am though so be prepared! Had a small issue with the room but after speaking to the incredibly helpful staff this was resolved very efficiently. Breakfast was also of a good quality with lots of variety.

Close to everything and clean and comfy.

This hotel is very convenient for the Duomo and most other places in Florence, but this also means it can be a bit noisy late at night. We did not mind this as we walked ourselves silly and slept very well! The staff were helpful and the hotel was clean and reasonably comfortable but the buffet breakfast was not as good as most other reviews had led us to expect.We found that the eateries in Florence were very expensive and the price you see up outside is very rarely the price you will pay. Watch out for this and get the actual price upfront. We also found a lot of these places treated tourists with a marked lack of respect! Little backstreet cafes which the locals used were the best and we also really liked the Central Market for food and drinks - try it!.

Fantastic location near Florence Cathedral

Fantastic location in a street with bags if character. About 10 minute walk from train station. Room suited our needs and was air-conditioned which was perfect in the August heat.

This is very comfortable hotel in an excellent position in the centre of Florence. The room was small but had all the essentials for a short stay in the city. Has air con which was a real bonus!
