We had a wonderful stay at Casa Viola. It has a lovely orchard at the back full of pomegranate and olive trees. There is a view of the sea from the sea from the pool. It’s easy to access Frangkocastello beaches and also the ones around Chora Sfakion. The villa was well stocked with everything you need including toiletries etc. So we didn’t need to do much shopping. Nikos was super helpful in advising on swimming places and tavernas. We also had a lovely drive up into the mountains near Anopoli. The location of the villa is perfect if you want uncrowded beaches in summer and crystal clear seas. Bliss.

Our 3rd visit to Crete. This is a lovely, air-conditioned apartment, set in a quiet traditional village in a beautiful part of Crete. The views from the patio are stunning. The facilities provided within the apartment, and outside, were all we needed for our 9 night stay. The bed is very comfortable and the pool is everything it looks, maintained at a constant 30 Deg C. Within 30 minutes travel is the lovely seaside resort of Kalyves. There are many golden, sandy, beaches within easy reach. Chania airport and city are about 30 minutes drive as is a Lidl store. There are local shops and chemists within a few minutes drive. I advise hiring a car, in order to get the best from your stay. The hosts, Kathie and Chris are lovely people! They are extremely helpful, friendly and kind. The advice that they gave us on the local area was really helpful. Thank you both, so much, for everything! The property was perfect, spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The property facilities make for a great holiday. The location is fantastic within easy walk of local Tavernas, Bakery, etc. Christina is the perfect host, on hand if required and very helpful.

The photos do not do this place justice. It is beautiful, scenic and hidden away. Close enough to walk to the beach or any number of local tavernas but also boasting the rarity of a lovely, shared pool. There are two apartment units at the property but you don't feel as if you are imposing on another family's holiday. The town itself is a quiet, authentic slice of Crete. There are several very decent beaches with excellent snorkelling opportunities along the small stretch of coast and a number of very decent, picturesque tavernas to chose from. I would recommend car hire because it opens up further opportunities along the coast, such as boat hire from Sfakia or the Prevelli beach trip. The hosts are friendly and generous without being imposing. It felt more like staying with friends - they are always on hand to ask for tips and advice about local culture. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed, quiet getaway.

Ideally situated in the hills in the centre of Crete, the village a short walk away with enough facilities and excellent tavernas to keep you happy for a good while. The Villa is very well provisioned and really lovely walks from the front door. You do need a car to reach Chania, Rethymnon and Iraklion and the beaches to the south, but they are easily accessible and the views en route are breathtaking. I could not recommend the villa or location highly enough.

The Villa was lovely and so close to the beach. If you want a break from it all then this will be perfect for you. There is not a huge amount to do in the area aside from nice beaches and a handful of restaurants so bear that in mind when booking.

We stayed at the Villa in August 2022. The Villa is spacious and clean and has everything one needs. You definitely need a car and anywhere you want to go, be prepared for a good drive. The taverna and shops down the road have all the essentials needed. Lubi came twice during our stay to clean the pool and offered to change sheets and towels though we felt it was wasteful and we’re happy to put the towels to wash ourselves. All in all, had a wonderful time and highly recommend it.

This villa is the most stunning villa any of us had stayed at, the hosts really made it an exceptional stay. THANK YOU Alexandra, Nikos and Konstantina, you were incredible before and throughout our stay. A huge shout out to Alexandra for dealing with our many requests, nothing was ever too much trouble and you were so very helpful. Nikos & Konstantina, your villa is stunning, the views, the little touches, made this one of the most beautiful visits, and you are so friendly too! You were so welcoming, we had the best week ever in such beautiful surroundings. Several elements made this trip exceptional, the supermarket deliveries straight to the villa, the boat trip and the chef that came and cooked for us, we really could not have asked for more! We loved every minute, thank you from us all! We can't wait to come back!
