Windy but not a problem

I really don’t know what else to say. The chalet is in a fantastic location, and had all the facilities we needed for our week on Orkney. We would happily visit again.

Fascinating place, the highlight was The Italian Chapel, beautil and very moving.

Amazing location! Worth the journey time to arrive in this idyllic island. I would have extended the trip if cottage had been available. Seals, swans, owl, skuas, otters, terns all around. The colour of the sea is stunning! We arrived in a thick fog. Had a few wrong turns to get to cottage and the yellow door isn't visible from the road! So drove passed. Electricity is included but on timers. Owner very responsive to my enquires and local community very helpful. If you are into bird watching and walking, you are in for a real treat.
