Loro Ciuffenna villas

Possibly best equipped holiday rental we've been to! Great location in countryside with wonderful views , yet very easy access to civilisation , Autostrada and railway station - Florence 40 mins by train! Sara is a great host helpful when needed and a mine of local information. In all we would heartily recommend it as a Tuscan base.

Valter and his wife are kind and welcoming hosts. The apartment was well laid out and had everything we wanted. The garden was very well kept with a big pool which we spent lots of time in. Great location close to Florence and within an easy drive of Siena, with lovely local restaurants and shops within a short drive. The road by the house can be a bit busy / noisy, but that didn’t detract from an excellent holiday.

We had a beautiful stay, in a beautiful setting…it was just so peaceful. We definitely needed longer there!! It was a well appointed house in a gorgeous setting with vines, olive trees and a massive range of fruit, vegetables (and laying hens!) that our hosts invited us to take as we wished! (The tomatoes were incredible!) The pool was amazing and there was table tennis, a basketball hoop and darts - perfect entertainment for our young people. The house was very clean and well appointed. Magena was so attentive and helpful with any questions that we had. All in all 5 star - we would definitely return and recommend to others.

We had a fantastic time staying at Villa Casanova. It is so beautiful there under the splendid oaks looking out over the beautiful Tuscan countryside we didn’t want to leave. Rita, our host was so warm, welcoming & charming and helped us with everything we needed to organise. The villa has a perfect location close to supermarkets and local restaurants and an easy train ride from Florence, while feeling so peaceful up in the hills. The villa itself was great for the kids as well, they loved playing table tennis & volley ball in the pool. There are lots of lovely walks too especially to the Tower Galatrona, from the top of which you can see the whole of Tuscany, just wonderful. Thank you Rita so much we had a truly beautiful holiday. Our stay at Casa Fontona was amazing. Our host was so friendly and accommodating. The house, grounds and pool are maintained to a very high standard.

Fabulous stay at this lovely property. Recommend Francesca and Andrea's catering-fantastic. Given the situation in 2020 was delight to manage to get away for 2 weeks. Thoroughly recommend this property.
