We had such a wonderful time at villa Barbalena with our little baby. Welcomed with such kindness and hospitality. The location is even better than in the pictures. The property is very well maintained and has all facilities available. Definitely will go back again when in Tuscany.

A great place for a family holiday

Valter and his wife are kind and welcoming hosts. The apartment was well laid out and had everything we wanted. The garden was very well kept with a big pool which we spent lots of time in. Great location close to Florence and within an easy drive of Siena, with lovely local restaurants and shops within a short drive. The road by the house can be a bit busy / noisy, but that didn’t detract from an excellent holiday.

Exceptional stay

We spent a week at Valter and his lovely wife's apartment for a week in June/25. It was perfect in every respect. It was the nicest accommodation we have ever had. Valter is a wonderful host. Available when you need him but he respects your privacy. We were welcomed with a beautiful cake and some of his homemade wine(delicious). The apartment was spotless, very well equipped and the pool was a lifesaver when it was so hot. We highly recommend this apartment and would not hesitate to stay there again. Many thanks Valter for a great stay.

Peaceful and comfortable

We stayed for one week in august with 2 teenage children who greatly enjoyed the pool, pool table and ping pong. The kitchen was well-equipped and the rooms were cool and shady - despite the heat. We enjoyed dining on the first floor terrace - although be warned to bring plenty of mosquito repellent as there are lots around. The pool and gardens are beautifully kept and very peaceful to unwind after a day put exploring. The villa is located conveniently for day trips to the main sights of Tuscany, and there is a large supermarket 15 mins drive away as well as smaller shops in the nearby villages. We enjoyed some lovely meals out in neighbouring villages and towns. Valter and just wife Patrizia we’re very welcoming and helpful - thank you for a delightful stay.

Wunderbare Unterkunft
