A beautiful house in a lovely street, ten minutes walk to the beach and two minutes to the grocery shop. The house itself is very well laid out and fully equipped with everything you need. It is modern but with lots of lovely traditional Italian furniture. It is very comfortable and we really enjoyed the outside courtyard. The hosts were wonderful! Federico responded to any queries very quickly and they were both just lovely people. Great market on a Thursday, lovely shops, cafes and restaurants all along the main promenade at the beach! I would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you Federico and Michela we really enjoyed our stay!

Villa gentillina is a great family home and the layout, equipment and facilities served all our needs as we were a family of five which included our grown up adult children, aged 24, 22 and 19. Come prepared to deal with what the hot weather and humidity brings and you will find Villa gentillina a welcome home to come back to after any days out sightseeing, or simply spend the day at the pool and have your own barbecue which we did on one of our days. There is enough space to enjoy the place together or have your own private space too with some peace and quiet in the reading room. Practicality and access to the property and the immediate surrounds is achievable with a Tiguan sized car (2010 plate), but any bigger would test your driving skills. The car parking and private gates were a real bonus as of course was the pool. Stiava itself is a small town with enough resource to enjoy a self catering lifestyle and has a fantastic pizzeria from which you can take away from, however we did travel out of the town to Viareggio which has a beautiful promenade and a varied selection of restaurants and shops which proved to be far busier / more lively and within easy reach. We visited the region to visit many places in and around Tuscany and found that villa gentillina provided the ideal combination of privacy, relaxation and comfort as well as a great host in Silvia who gave us some great recommendations and advice on arrival, including the nearby beach clubs in lido di camaiore ,thank you for a wonderful stay. We (3 adults) had a perfect stay for a short break. Lots of additional surprises, very warm, friendly hosts and a wonderful view from the garden.

This apartment is ideally situated just a pleasant walk to the centre of the beautiful town of Lucca and very close to the train station. The town itself is wonderful and full of interest and a great walk round the city walls. Its easy to catch a train to Pisa, Florence or connect to other places in Tuscany and beyond. The hosts are very helpful and the apartment was very well presented with lovely neighbours. Would definitely visit again.

Nice big apartment in a great location so you couldn’t ask for more . The owners Andrea & Anna were really nice so would definitely return next time we’re in Viareggio
