Stunning apartment in great location.

We stayed in this lovely apartment for a short stay in Budapest. It is a beautiful old building with high ceilings & cooling walls, had everything you could need & situated in the old Castle area close to Fishermans Bastian. The host was happy to help with anything & easy to contact on whatsapp.The no 16 bus stops virtually outside, runs early morning until gone 11pm, so helps if you struggle with the steps. As its situated in the older part of town you get lovely views over the Danube, especially lit up at night.We had a wonderful visit , Budapest has so many gems, we loved the bike tour showing us lots of history, walking tour of the Royal palace, the parliament building ,went on the chairlift near the childrens railway, watched the magical free fountains with music at Margaret Island spent time in the lovely park , to name but a few. The transport system is so efficient, the people friendly, must go again!

We had an amazing time. The apartment is fabulous and perfectly located for sight seeing. Tom was the perfect host - very communicative. He gave us many tips for places to eat and also organised a private taxi trim the airport and back again. Would totally recommend. Pat & Jonny from Ireland.

Really central apartment, walkable to all we wanted to see. Lots of great local restaurants and pubs/bars. Lots of supermarkets close by. Balcony was nice for an evening drink. We would stay again.

Everything you could want for your stay in budapest. Wonderful views, 1 min walk to the parliament, tram stop just outside with access to connections around all budapest and a couple of small supermarkets if you want to pick up anything. The apartment is really well equipped and we wanted for nothing, after a hard day sightseeing we spent a couple of evenings just chilling with a glass of wine, looking at the river boats on the Danube as the sun set. The apartment is so well located - we will have no hesitation in booking again. Vincent was also really flexible as our flights changed a couple of times and he was able to amend out dates, with no fuss at all. I cannot recommend this apartment enough. Very spacious quiet apartment but very close to shops, restaurants, bakeries. Only 10mins walk to Danube and No.2 tram. Great restaurant close by called Fat Mo's, fab food and service plus live music. Hajnal & Viktor very helpful both before we left home and during our stay. 3 good size bedrooms & bathrooms, would definitely stay here again.

After trying to book another apartment Llona quickly messaged us to inform us that it was unavailable on the dates and offered us this apartment which she also owned. From the start she kept in regular contact with us to offer advise and to arrange check in. She gave her personal WhatsApp to do this and was there if we had any issues at any point of the trip. The apartment itself is well equipped with everything you need. Kitchen is equipped with utensils to cook. All the rooms are a good size with high ceilings which give a good feeling of space. The wifi is fast, and we were able to stream TV. To get into the apartment block you have to access a locked door which can be electronically unlocked from the inside and then the same situation with a gate to access the the stairs to get up to the 2nd floor, so it is very safe. Directly across the road from there is Aldi, so it was quick and easy to buy food as we decided to cook. Within a 5 minute walk you reach the northern side of the Jewish Quarter and 10 minutes walk to the more trendy bars and restaurants. Within a few minutes there is a metro station to give good links to the whole city. However, we found that most sights were within a 30 minute walk. Whether that was the sights around the river to the south or Hero's Square and city park to the east. So if you like walking and taking in other cities, it's in a good central location. And if you don't like walking, well it's about 3 minutes to the metro station and there are bus stops close by too. Overall, the apartment was everything we needed, hoped for and more. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend this apartment (and her other apartment if this was is not available) to friends and family. Thank you Llona for our lovely stay.
