Gite couldn’t have been better. Beautiful house with fabulous garden and pool.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is in a stunningly beautiful setting with easy access to the river for canoeing and swimming. The gite was a generous size for a couple and was well equipped. Our hosts were friendly and very welcoming. We had a wonderfully relaxing holiday and would have been very happy to stay on for another week. We hope to return.

from the moment we arrived we felt so welcome and the feeling grew as the stay progressed. Fran is a very friendly host and her husband John was just as welcoming. The gite and pool are in a beautiful, quiet, nature filled part of the Charente. The decor in each room is a clever mix of antique and modern. It is immaculately clean; generously equipped; a well insulated house. We enjoyed feeding their hens too!! We fully recommend this gite.

Sara is a fabulous host and owner of the property and has created a serene setting where the silence is golden and all you hear is birdsong.The property has a distinct boho theme with lots of creative quirks in a typical gite style, plus a great pool setting.The ‘walnut’ gite is all on one level, easy living, power shower, generous balcony with superb views!

We had a lovely week-long stay at this beautiful gite. The location is secluded and quiet with exclusive access to the pool area. The gardens are beautifully maintained and the owners on-hand if needed but otherwise respectful of our privacy. The area is absolutely stunning although everything is a car ride away. The gite itself is cosy and very clean with everything we needed. The outdoor kitchen is a fabulous quirk of the place that we loved. Highly recommended.

As a group of two families, we had a fantastic week at Les Gravats du Bost. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the house was particularly spacious for our group of 9. If anything I’d say that the pictures don’t do the property justice! Olivia was very welcoming on check-in, with plenty of information provided on the local area.
