Les Gravats du Bost is a 6 bedrrom, 3 bathroom converted barn, well equipped with all you need for 12 guests. indoor and outdoor dining spaces, a salt-system swimming pool and grounds looking out on to fields. Very quiet but within easy reach of Bonnes, Aubeterre, St. Aulaye and Riberac. Bergerac is an hour away, and Bordeaux 1hour 15 minutes.
House Facilities include all bedding, towels and pool towels; 2 travel cots and 2 highchairs if required;
BBQ, table tennis, volleyball/badminton net.

A great place to stay ! Quiet and peaceful with a great pool and loads of space both inside and out. Michele was in touch regularly to check everything was ok and it was ! Great place to stay for a large family group with everything needed on site. Would definitely recommend.

A fabulous stay at this magnificent family home. A wonderful relaxing break for our group of 13 adults and children, with everything we wanted. Superb quality accommodation in the most beautiful setting. Not to be missed!

Lovely Gite, beautiful grounds and great pool. Surrounding area was lovely too. We had it super hot so couldn’t do too much other than enjoy the pool and a few short strolls

Fabulous property, superb location, close to river swimming at the lovely town of Aubeterre. The gite was spacious , well equipped and wonderful for children with the pool and acres of countryside to explore . We would come back with no hesitation.

Fabulous Villa

As a group of two families, we had a fantastic week at Les Gravats du Bost. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the house was particularly spacious for our group of 9. If anything I’d say that the pictures don’t do the property justice! Olivia was very welcoming on check-in, with plenty of information provided on the local area.

Fantastic property!

Ten of us stayed in this great property - six adults and four children (all under 12). There was plenty of space for the three families to do whatever they wanted. All the children enjoyed the pool (nearly as much as the adults!). The house itself gave us all the space we needed. The Great Space and the large lounge were ideal. All meals were eaten outside. The house was very well equipped and had everything we needed. The garden, table tennis table (although we had to buy some more bats as only one there) and large garden were a huge hit with the children. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful, spacious farmhouse which has been modernised. With 10 of us (including 6 teenagers, it was important that we had plenty of space. The rooms were generously sized as was the kitchen and lounge areas. The temperature was really hot so a lot of time was spent in the swimming pool which was again a good size and a nice depth. We were very grateful for the modern showers which got very well used. The games which were left kept the teens amused when we could unglue them from their phones (the WiFi worked perfectly unfortunately! We could have probably done with it dropping out occasionally!) The fruit trees were a bonus and we made tarts out of the figs and mirabelles. We walked down to Bonne a couple of times to use the local recommended restaurant which was lovely. Being in the middle of nowhere worked well for our family’s needs! We loved this house and would happily return!

Michele and her husband Mike bought Les Gravats du Bost in December 2021 from a lovely couple who renovated this old barn to create their (and our) dream home.
These original visionaries also rented the house for almost ten years to much acclaim (and 5* reviews) from holidaying families.
We intend to live up to Jos and Jerry's standards, however it does mean we currently have no reviews in our early months!
