Point Roberts rentals with hot tubs

Home is well-appointed and comfortable, with lots of room to spread out. All modern conveniences available for use - coffee maker, microwave, split air/heaters, washer & dryer. Clear, quick communication with the host, easily accessed the property at check in. Our favorite feature was the deck in back, over looking the water, where we watched ferries crossing, eagles & geese hunting for food and gorgeous sunsets. Highly recommend and hope to return soon for another stay!

We stayed for three nights in Gingerbread cottage which was absolutely charming and very comfortable. We had just completed a seven week Motorhome trip from San Francisco in a quite small vehicle. The stay at the cottage was our treat to ourselves before we flew home to the UK. And what a treat to stay in such beautiful surroundings with a lovely big comfortable bed. The bedroom in particular was amazing with big skylights and windows. Lying in bed at night gazing at the tree tops and the occasional glimpse of sky and stars was, as I think Americans often say, truly awesome There was even a double patio door to an upstairs terrace. Whilst sitting on the patio on our first evening a bald eagle flew within about ten feet of us to settle in a branch alongside the cottage. That was a wonderful moment for us and We felt privileged to have seen it. We walked several of the trails, one day taking the one to the beach which was quite challenging for two pensioners but well worth the effort. Another day we walked the 2.5 miles to the restaurant at the marina and enjoyed a great meal. All in all our stay at Gingerbread Cottage finished off our trip perfectly. May even come back again for a longer stay. Thank you to all that make this a special place.
