The house is wonderful. Air con in the bedrooms and huge high ceilings in the communal areas mean it stays cool even when the temperatures soar. The garden is lovely and offers shade and sun. We ate breakfast there every morning and a couple of dinners - the kitchen is large and well equipped. The beaches and waterfront 'strip' are 15-20 minutes walk away. There's a supermarket, bakery, fruit shop and fishmongers less than 1O minutes walk. We had a great meal in the restaurant at the corner of the street on our last night. Public transport is reliable and good value- we went to Lucca, Pisa and Florence on day trips so a car is not essential [we used taxis to and from the airport but only because of luggage] We didn't meet Sara face to face but she was very helpful throughout our holiday. This is a lovely home and our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

I stayed with my husband, 3 children age 21-25 years, their partners and my 4 month old grand daughter. The house is bliss - wonderful bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and such thick walls no one heard the baby except her parents! Underfloor cooling was bliss. Francesca goes totally above and beyond from arrival to the end - amazing wine tasting in her vineyard is an absolute must! Nothing is too difficult for her and she is so wonderful. The kitchen is amazing - full professional standard and would highly recommend "Taste Emotions" for a really wonderful gourmand treat - they come and cook at the house -utterly the best food I have had in years and Larissa and her husband are wonderful. The pool is excellent - great size and fenced with a wonderful surrounding garden and the village has 2 great restaurants and 2 bars with the option of bike hiring. Also really convenient for

The views from the villa are amazing, to wake up with mountains on one side, and panoramic views down to the ocean on the other was simply breath taking. Fabrizio is a lovely host, very welcoming and the villa he has designed himself is wonderful. Staying there is just Dolce Vita.

We (3 adults) had a perfect stay for a short break. Lots of additional surprises, very warm, friendly hosts and a wonderful view from the garden.

This villa is a real gem and we were very lucky to find it. By far the best villa I have stayed in with beautiful views, peaceful location up in the hills with a great view over Camaiore. Air con in all rooms plus additional fridge/freezer and laundry room and the piece du resistance a beautiful lit pool with waterfall and jaccuzzi which gave us some great memories chilling in the hot summer evenings listening to the cicadas and enjoying the great Italian wines :) What made it extra special however was the owner, Donatella, who was wonderfully attentive, responded immediately to emails, always happy to help and rescued us by arranging for us to get to the airport on the final day of our holiday. (Our thanks to her and son Gabriele) Camaiore has good restaurants and there is a huge well stocked supermarket in Lido di Camaiore. If there was one thing I would change it would be the drive up to the villa which is very steep with a few tricky bends. If you have a small hire car or 4x4 there will be no problem but our 7 seater auto Seat could not make it around the bends so we had to park at the bottom of the Hill. So in summary, choose your hire car carefully and please come and stay in this villa. It is perfect!
