Lovely location beautiful views from the cottage and on a clear day or night it's breathtaking You'll need a car as it's a bit remote but that's part of its charm

This was a lovely home, in a idyllic area only 5-6 miles out of central Stockholm. The house is luxurious with every room having state of the art TV, sound bars. There is a sauna hot tub and swimming pool and a beautiful lake close by for swimming and relaxing. The host Micke was super responsive to phone, email and even met us and showed us around when we arrived . We have been around the world with Vrbo - Sydney, Auckland, San Francisco and LA, and this was the best house we’d been to- 5 stars doesn’t seem to do it justice…this is a 6 star property. Thank you letting us stay…hopefully no one reads this review, as we’d like to come back..😜

Relaxing 4 nights stay in a neat tranquil well equipped cabin, which was actually more spacious than we expected, surrounded by trees, right next to a massive body of water. Hosts were friendly, and the location, the entire place was so captivating, I wish we could’ve stayed longer. I guess the area is more lively in summer but we stayed in November so there wasn’t a single soul around which we enjoyed very much. We didn’t use kayaks, hot tub and couldn’t dip in the sea due to season, but still it gave us lots of joy just to be there so close to nature.

We were a family of four (three adults & one infant) that spent a lovely week at the property. The house is airy with great views from most rooms, clean, fully equipped and with multiple areas to sit outside to get most of the sunshine. The house is right by the sea and we organised a boat taxi to pick us up straight from the house to waxholm and other places in the archipelago, which worked very well. Communication with host was easy and any questions we had were answered quickly. Would recommend

This is a very nice property on a charming quiet island, easy to reach from Stockholm. It is a private place, cosy and lots to do.

We are a family of four and enjoyed a lovely holiday in a beautiful, comfortable, well-equipped house. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing 10 day break in this lovely home on the island of Resaro. The owners were so welcoming and provided everything we needed, taking the time to show us around their home and the local area. The house itself is within sight of the sea on a very quiet lane and the garden and pool provided plenty of room for our boys to enjoy themselves. The island is tranquil and we enjoyed being able to explore the area by bike. There is a very useful mini supermarket only 5 minutes away by bicycle where you can get most things you need. The nearest local town, Vaxholm, happens to be the central hub of the Stockholm archipelago. We drove there by car in less than 10 minutes and visited a number of times by bicycle where the super-frequent car ferry enables you to explore Rindö and Scarpö. There's a great restaurant at the far end of Rindö and lots of quiet swimming spots on both islands should you fancy a dip. One of the best experiences was hiring kayaks from the canoeing centre only a mile away. It's a stunning area and especially attractive from the sea. The house is lovely. Plenty of space, very comfortable and very well equipped for any family. We would highly recommend Shayne and Anna's very special home, not least because they are so keen that you enjoy everything Stockholm has to offer.
