We could never grow tired of that view of the sea - from the bedroom balcony, from the living area, from the chairs by the lemon tree or even from the private pool. Unlike us, there were days when we loaded up on supplies just so that we didn't need to leave and could enjoy the place for the day, sometimes clambering down the hill to swim by ourselves in the sea. Very private, very well equipped with everything you could need. We even walked one day into the lovely small town of Tyros one evening, had some delicious local food at one of the many seaside restaurants, then back up the hill to walk off the dinner. It's a trek, but well worth it. If you want a place full of foreign tourists (like us), massive hotels and jet-skis for hire, this place is not for you. If you want a laid back, private, local experience where every time you go to the shops you come home laden with gifts of home-made olives, honey and enormous branches of dried herbs, then you're in luck.

We had a relaxing 10 days. Great location. Can recommend Sophia's, the local taverna which is a 2 minute drive, and Costa's beach bar at Livardi beach, a 4 minute drive. Had excursions into the amazing mountains at Kosmas and daily trips toTyros and Leonidio, which have a good selection of shops for supplies, beachside bars and sea swomming. The Myrtoon tavern was a particular favourite. The villa was well supplied. The pool wonderful and the hosts couldn't have been more helpful. We hope to return one day. Can highly recommend if you want a tranquil break amongst incredible scenary withfriendly peopleand great hosts.

We loved the rustic house and the view from it! It met all of our and our families needs and really appreciated the separation of sleeping accommodation downstairs and the open window from the kitchen. A special peaceful place in the heart of the pelponnese. The owner of the village taverna and George’s bar were hot favourites for us all! As was the spa and Pilates with Angelika. Thank you we will always remember our time there ❤️

A great property. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. It has wonderful verandas and balconies with views over the sea. The garden has an outdoor oven and you can help yourself to the orange and lemons growing there. The owners Philippe and Cati were very friendly and welcoming. Their olives from the garden and home made olive oil were fantastic. Philippe was a font of knowledge about the climbing in and around Leonidio and we loved hearing about his amazing adventures. There is a taverna by the harbour which provides basic good food and there are some excellent restaurants in Leonidio which is close by. An excellent place to stay if you are climbing in the area or just want to absorb the atmosphere of Greece and enjoy the sunshine and the scenery. It comes highly recommended and we will certainly be looking to return in the near future.

What can I say about this villa other than book it! The villa is beautiful and even more impressive than the photos. The view from all the rooms and the terrace is incredible. Ingo could not have been more helpful and responsive to any queries we had. And the welcome pack we received prior to travelling was so detailed it made our arrival a piece of cake. The local beach (Kalo Livadi) is gorgeous....small but has a great beach bar and sunbeds/umbrellas which are free. The food and drink there is great and so cheap! The nearby town of Leonidio had everything we needed and is very pretty with some lovely restaurants. You do need a car for this villa as it is about 20 minutes from nearby towns and the villa's drive is a little scary at first but we soon got very used to it! We absolutely loved our 2 weeks there and would book again in an instant.
