Great lack of customer service experience from the host with poor communication skills
Firstly the host tried to charge us a cash for accidental damage which clearly happened due to his lack of communication skills, Secondly there was a number of cage dogs right behind our windows which keep barking all night long so we couldn’t sleep once I approach host about the dogs I was threatened that the police were coming up and arrest me for taking any pictures of property at this stage we contact our solicitor back in UK and was advised to take as many pictures I want as that’s my holiday, I reply to the host that I’m more than happy to see the police and show them all my photo gallery at this stage they seems to back off a bit
The next incident was flood of our bedroom due to blocked a drainage on the balcony clearly because of lack of property maintenance. At the same time we can talk about the luck as we were in the property at the time otherwise host could say we just flooded the house and try to charge us again, It took host for about two hours to bring our bedroom to the stage where we could actually use it. From that stage host back off the dogs has been moved somewhere so there was no loud barking anymore and finally we could sleep but this was already halfway through of our visit. Another inconvenience was where the electricity was switched off when we put the cattle on while dish washer was running that probably because of faulty/defective electrical installation. Another inconvenience what’s the Wi-Fi and Internet which we could connect to however there was no Internet and then when I ask the host why is like that they said if we wanted the batter Internet we have to pay extra . Finally during check out we were accused of missing one towel, again with clearly irritated lady speaking to us with raised voice in Italian language which wasn’t pleasant experience at all. We come to the impression that host taking as more like a intruders rather the tourist. Overall we didn’t feel like being at home away at all and I wouldn’t recommend this place for anybody to stay
