Harbour cottage Staithes

Newly refurbished to high standard. Being a 3 storey cottage space can be an issue and open plan steep stairs may be a problem for some. Location excellent. Would return.

This place was nothing like the pictures online. It was damp and smelt damp. Cooker not cleaned and the floor was still wet when we arrived and gritty under foot.It had not been maintained at all...peeling paint, damp patches, weeds in the cutter ,shower and bathroom units rotten.

They messed up our booking and we had a to leave a day early, only finding out the morning of leaving. Spoliing our last day for our kids and elderly dog.

Luxurious bolt hole

This is our 5th holiday in Staithes and the most luxurious property we have found so far. The downside is the 'bijoux' size. The mini kitchen area is so small that there is only space for a mini fridge/freezer with no dishwasher and just a mini double induction hob. And the kitchen can't be used at the same time as 4 being at the table. For a short stay the luxury outweighs this and it is perfect. I look forward to returning. I would not stay for more than 2 nights though for the above reasons.
