We enjoyed our stay very much at Magpie Cottage. It was very clean and well equiped with everything we might have needed. It was a good place to travel from to see the local castles, museums and beaches. We had a lovely Sunset Cruise from Seahouses harbour, just over half an hour away. We also had a great day on Lindisfarne. Lovely area, lots to see.

Home from home

Very comfortable and in a very convenient location. Only gripes related to the kitchen, the lighting was poor and missed a couple of good pans to cook meals. Having said that want to book again and will bring my own pans!!
