TN River House with Private Boat Ramp and Dock on Chickamauga Lake-Main Channel

Our home is a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath house that is located at the end of a quite cul-de-sac with a full basement. It has 2,700 square feet of finished living space with a 1,500 square foot unfinished basement. The master bedroom is on the main level and has a king bed and private bath. There is also a half bath on the main level. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath, each with private access to the top deck for star gazing or watching the boats come down the main channel of the Tennessee River. The home accommodates 6 adults and two children. We do not recommend more than 6 adults due to the current sleeping arrangements.

Perfect place for family vacation

Our two families enjoyed this home and all it had to offer. There was plenty to do on the days we stayed in. The kids loved spending time on the dock - beautiful views and great blue herons. The screened-in deck, the large yard, covered patio and basement were the places to be! The kitchen is well-equipped, even with an air fryer. Very comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, and plenty of seating for dining in. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Family Getaway

Our family had a wonderful time! The house was perfect and has amazing views. We loved sitting out on the screened in porch and the dock. We all enjoyed the ping pong table, playing ball in the backyard, the kids had fun on the paddle boards and kayaks and fishing off the dock. This home and property are well equipped with everthing you need for a relaxing getaway! We cannot wait to visit again soon! Thank you for allowing us to visit your home!

Beautiful Lake House!

We spent Christmas week in Chattanooga in this beautiful Lake House! When we walked in and saw how beautiful, cozy, and clean this house was we were highly impressed...even had a Christmas tree decorated in the living room! We had a great time visiting with family, cooking, playing ping pong, relaxing by the fireplace playing guitar and singing songs, and just really enjoyed this awesome house. We highly recommend this location for a getaway to a beautiful serene location!!

Comfortable and close to Dayton Boat Ramp

My husband and a couple of other guys rented this house for a fishing tournament week. They were very comfortable here, it was about 15 minutes from the boat ramp and Walmart in Dayton where they could grocery shop and get anything they needed. :)

Beautiful property with water steps from the back porch

My family and I had a fantastic vacation at this property. The owners were extremely nice and made sure that we had a great time. The house is nicely decorated and there was plenty of room for our group. The porch was enclosed and it was great just to sit outside and take in the view of the river. I would definitely suggest this place to anyone I know and I'm sure we will book it again one day. Thanks to the owners for making our trip special. We had a fantastic time!

Beautiful and Relaxing

This property is gorgeous inside and out! Our family spent 5 days here and every ounce of us wanted to stay longer. The house is beautiful, views beautiful and such a peaceful relaxing place to stay. Had absolutely zero issues whatsoever! Fully stocked with anything we needed. The back screened in porch is amazing, we spent a good amount of time out there. As for the host, Michael was so nice and professional to deal with from booking to check out. I would 1000% recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We will absolutely be back!

Perfect Getaway

Our family decided to take a very last minute trip to get away from Florida heat and enjoy fall. Michael’s house was perfect for all three generations. Lots of toys for the grandkids (3, 5, 8) to enjoy and they loved the bunk room. We spent most of our time in the backyard or on the screened porch. The house was well equipped for meal prep. Because of the last minute nature of our trip, we needed excellent internet service for remote work and school. No one had any issues with connection during our stay. We all felt very comfortable and would love to return during the summer so we could enjoy all the water toys! Sunsets over the lake were a highlight of our trip.

Fisherman's paradise

If you want a place to stay that is laid out to fully enjoy Lake Chickamauga this is the place. Covered deck is wonderful to hang out and visit with friends and family. We cooked all our meals and the deck has an L shaped area that worked great for food prep. Bedding was great and even though the we had 3 full grown men sleeping in the bunk beds, they were surprisingly comfortable. We've been having this particular family fishing trip for 51 years, from Wisconsin, Arkansas, Missouri among other locations and this was the nicest accommodations we have ever stayed in. Full pool for the lake makes the dock and ramp fully usable. Location on the lake is midlake so you have easy access to either end of the lake on one of the best bass lakes in the S.E. If you want to "rough it" on your next trip, this is NOT the property for you. Will be booking our 2020 trip very soon!

Very cool house on the water

House was great. If you are a fisherman. The garage can hold 2 20 foot boats which is outstanding for peace of mind with your fishing gear. It’s very easy to back into garage. There is a ramp on property that is accessible. In the winter you will have to launch at one of the many state park ramps. Tva drops the water level 5 feet in the winter which makes ramp at property not deep enough (owner disclosed this to us prior to us renting). We launched down the lake easily at state ramp. House was roomy and the 4 bunk beds upstairs are great for kids or fisherman that draw the short straw. :). Coffee maker is on site and all items work great. I will be back for fishing again and will rent this house. Enjoy your time here.

Quick fall weekend getaway

We had a nice weekend getaway at this property. The owner, Michael, was so amazing and very responsive to all communication. It was so nice to actually speak with the owner and not a management company. Unfortunately, rain limited half of our stay but that couldn't be helped. It was great that we had access to the kids kayaks and SUPs to use. Of note- if going in September, the lake is cooler and it is VERY weedy. My kids are not ones to swim with weeds, so that was limiting when we arrived. The house is located in a section of the lake that is blocked from the main lake by an island. This made for the water to be very calm which was really pretty and made it easy to see the bobber for fishing. We caught a small bass and some panfish right off the dock. The house had enough space for 6 of us and was cozy. We were able to use the fire pit at night and it was really relaxing. It was a nice little getaway to recharge the soul and spend quality time with the family.

Fishing trip

Booked this property for a tournament out of Dayton. Loved having the boat ramp for practicing in the back. Worked perfect for a group of 4 adults would highly recommend .

Pleasant stay

We enjoyed our stay. It was very comfortable and clean, unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy outside due to the cold and rainy weather. The neighborhood was quite. We would definitely rent again.

Great Family Fishing Rental

My father, brother, and I came down for a local fishing tournament and stayed for several days. The house and property was clean and matched the description online. The screened in back deck, boat house, and on property personal boat launch were amazing!!! I have three small children under 5 and will 100% be bringing my whole family back to stay here. Thanks to Michael for providing a wonderful place for us to stay.

This area is were Michael grew up coming fishing and skiing with his family and our family has always enjoyed being on the water, may it be boating, tubing, paddle boarding, fishing, or just sitting on the dock where it is so peaceful watching the kids swim, laugh and make memories. We now have a waterfront home to share with others. Enjoy a week on the river with all the toys having great fun. Or, a long weekend making unforgettable memories with family and friends. There is plenty to do for everyone. Enjoy !

Why they chose this property

Nice easy walk to the waterfront with breath taking views during the day and gorgeous sunsets! Enjoy boating, paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, relax while fishing on the private dock ! Bring your boat and have your own private boat ramp so you can put your boat in at your leisure. Bring the whole family and enjoy getting away and relaxing but all the while still being close enough to run to Wal-Mart within 15 minutes if needed.

What makes this property unique

Private boat ramp and nice level yard to water and dock. Located on the main channel but just behind a small island which stops the waves from the boats along the channel which is nice for swimming but gives you the benefit of still being able to watch all the boats go down the main channel of the river.
