A sleek one-bedroom apartment on the second floor of a striking turquoise building in the heart of Notting Hill. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen space sets the tone, bright, well-presented and ideal for couples or corporate stays. Ladbroke Grove tube is steps away, Portobello Road market is on your doorstep, and the bars and boutiques of Notting Hill are within easy reach. Come and make the most of it.
The open plan living, dining and kitchen area forms the hub of the apartment. You walk straight into this space through the front door, where a sofa, armchair, wall-mounted television, dining table and kitchen are all brought together in one attractive room. Relaxing on the comfortable seating, working or eating at the dining table, and preparing snacks and meals can all happen in this single, well-presented space.
Accessed directly from the living area, the bedroom features a delightfully comfortable kingsize bed set in an attractive room with no less than three wardrobes and closets.
In keeping with the luxurious style of the rest of the apartment, the bathroom offers a modern and relaxing space with both a bath and a separate shower. There is also a separate WC. Quality towels and toiletries are provided, so there is no need to bring your own.
Guests have the entire apartment to themselves. No parking is available at the property.
The apartment is perfectly situated to help you discover the capital, being a very short walk from Ladbroke Grove tube station. You`ll surely want to take a trip to the world-famous market on Portobello Road during your stay — it features an eclectic mix of antique, food and clothing stalls and shops.
Being located in Notting Hill, the apartment makes for an ideal base from which to enjoy the Notting Hill Carnival, which takes place every August, though early booking is advised.
To the south you`ll find the cool bars and restaurants of Notting Hill and Notting Hill Gate. Fans of the 1999 Hugh Grant film Notting Hill will no doubt recognise many locations from the film in the area, not least the famous blue door on Westbourne Park Road.
Head further east and you`ll arrive at the boutiques of Westbourne Grove and Bayswater. To the south of the apartment you`ll find Holland Park and the popular exhibition and performance venue at Kensington Olympia — so if you have tickets for an event there, you won`t have far to go.
Ladbroke Grove Underground station is a very short walk from the apartment. Trains from here connect to Hammersmith, Shepherd`s Bush and various destinations in central London and the City beyond, making the apartment ideal for those planning to work in London or explore its many attractions.
Holland Park Underground Station is a longer walk to the south. On the Central Line, it offers direct access to Oxford Circus to the east and to Westfield Shopping Centre in White City to the west.
The area is also well served by buses travelling across the capital, and black cabs are regularly available in the area.
Paddington Station is a short drive away, from where the Heathrow Express provides fast links to and from the airport. Other train services from Paddington head west to Devon, Cornwall and South Wales.
The apartment is on the second floor, reached via a few steps up from street level and two flights of stairs inside the building. There is no lift.
