Superb cosy cottage with all you need

We absolutely enjoyed out short family break and fully expect to return. The cottage is very well equipped and tastefully decorated to ensure it feels so comfortable and welcoming. The local pub is brilliant and just a 5 minute walk away. Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful place.

Brilliant stay!

Fantastic little cottage....very quirky just like the description. Really enjoyed our stay. It's in a great location for the Western lakes and we enjoyed some great walks. The dogs loved swimming in Wastwater. Fantastic communication from the hosts and cottage is very well equipped. Shame the local pub wasn't doing food (waiting for a new chef to start) but enjoyed sitting out in the sunshine with a nice beer! Will definitely be staying again.

Rustic AND Modern

Booked for it's proximity to Muncaster Castle, where the mighty Sea Power host their annual Krankenhaus music festival. What a unique place! The tree in the middle of the staircase obviously, but so many nooks and crannies to relax in. Exposed beams and live edge counters...and Alexa? Great place, highly recommended.

A lovely little home in a quiet village. Comfortable and clean. Bed and sofa comfy. Everything you needed was supplied. Communication with the owners great. Pub in the village nice and does good pub grub. Thank you

Beckermet - een fantastisch vakantieverblijf

Ons verblijf in het prachtige cottage in Beckermet was een groot succes. Je werd omringd door luxe en bijna ieder commando aan het controlsystem werd feilloos uitgevoerd. Ook een schitterende en goed onderhouden tuin, met diverse terrassen en mogelijkheden. Kortom in alle opzichten een geslaagd verblijf.

Perfect, quirky base to explore the Western Lakes

Couldn’t be more impressed with this lovely little cottage. Super snug, well equipped and beautifully decorated - it set the scene for a very special weekend away. We highly recommend this property - you won’t be disappointed!
