A very lovely cottage, located in a very peaceful and beautiful part of Lake District. Very kind owners. The children were sad when we left because we had such a wonderful week. River where you can swim only 5 min walking, and multiple footpaths just from the front door!

Lovely cottage, not fancy but what I expected on a farm and in the area. There are no shops within walking distance, so best to get stocked up. Dog friendly ! And the farm dogs are friendly as well - just like the farmer and his son !If you like a quiet area, and being outdoors this is the right place for you.Good pub about a 15 minute walk away - but this is across fields and through woods so I wouldn't do if it was dark.
