This unique 13 acre property has stunning views from every part of the house and is protected from summer and winter coastal winds! Few homes with close proximity to the ocean can honestly make this claim. This property is very private and out of any neighbors view. It is very close to Battle Rock Park, the beaches and everything Port Orford has to offer.

The house is well built and a contemporary design, decorated with a fine art collection of original work. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need to prepare quality meals. There is a complete laundry room available to our guests. There is a deck on the ocean side of the house with seating as well as a table and chairs along with an Everdure propane Barbeque. Guests commonly remark the house and property exceeded their expectations. The kitchen also features a Berkey water filter for drinking water.

Port Orford has a Dark Sky ordinance that makes it one of the best towns on the coast for stargazing.

Wifi has download and upload speeds that exceed 500mps in both directions.

If you drive a Tesla you will enjoy fast charging in or outside the garage.

Redfish, like this home, has stellar ocean views from every seat. Next door is the beautiful Hawthorne Gallery, featuring the work of internationally recognized artists, local artists and the work of the talented Hawthorne family. Chris has spent his leisure time on the ocean chasing waves and wind to surf and to sail. Chris is now an avid golfer spending time at Bandon Dunes and Bandon Crossings. Marylinda Guerin, a multi generational resident of Port Orford, is the caretaker of the property is readily available in the event any issues should arise.

Chris is the second owner of this beautiful property that was homesteaded by Louis Knapp. The Knapp family owned it until they sold it to Chris in 1995. It was the first vacation rental in Port Orford. It is a unique property in Port Orford because the site is protected from the NW winds of summer as well as the SW winds of winter. It's spectacular ocean view as well as it's beautiful view of the Port of Port Orford make it the perfect spot to storm watch in the winter and to watch the fishing boats leave and arrive back in Port during the summer. It is very close to the downtown area of Port Orford and Battle Rock Park yet has a feeling of seclusion and privacy seldom found in accommodations with this kind of proximity to the town and to the beaches.
