Visiting from Georgia USA

We had such a wonderful time. Great location, the beds were comfy, and close enough to Lisburn to see family there. We hiked during the day and the hot tub was amazing. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

We had the most wonderful stay at Heather cottage, it is in the most stunning, relaxing location. The house was very well equipped and everything had been thought of. Such a peaceful, relaxing stay in an immaculate cottage. The children loved the games room and table football and we all lovely the hot tub. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in!! Absolutely wonderful

We had the most wonderful stay at Heather Cottage as a family of four. From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and even more inviting than the photos had led us to believe. The space was perfect for us, with plenty of room for everyone to relax, comfortable beds, and a well-equipped kitchen that made meal preparation easy. The location was ideal: peaceful and quiet. We especially loved the view of sheep grazing in the field directly across the road and waking up to see the Mountains of Mourne. Our hosts were outstanding, welcoming, responsive, and thoughtful. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we left with such special memories. We’d happily return and can’t recommend this property enough for families seeking a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

We are from England & we stayed for a week to attend our Sons wedding in Belfast. It was perfect.

It’s a beautiful house and spotlessly clean. It was spacious enough for 4 adults, a 4 year old and a baby. The location is stunning with views across farmland and the Mourne mountains in the distance. The hot tub is a real bonus. The house is in a countryside location with the small town of Castlewellan a 15 minute drive away..

Family girls' weekend

Perfect for a family get together. Immaculately clean, very comfortable and the hot tub was fabulous. We were mindful not to use the hot tub while the services were in progress at the church next door. A great experience overall.

Fantastic house

We had a lovely two weeks at this house. Very clean and lovely decoration. Perfect for a family holiday. The hot tub really made the holiday - something that you can still do if the weather turns bad!
