We had a lovely two-night stay and the apartment was a great base for a relaxing couple of days with our little cockapoo. The property was spotlessly clean and both bedrooms were huge, with very comfortable super king-size beds. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and there is also a useful utility room for longer stays. The location was ideal for lovely walks with the dog. We ate at nearby Egypt Mill both evenings – very dog friendly, delicious food and lovely staff, with live music in the garden on Sunday afternoon.A few small touches would improve the stay, such as a welcome pack with milk and biscuits and bathroom toiletries including shampoo and shower gel. The sofa/sofa bed wasn’t particularly comfortable as the cushions constantly moved, exposing the mechanism underneath (see photo).Although allocated parking is stated, the car park was full on arrival so we had to use the overflow at Egypt Mill.We also hadn’t received check-in details by the day before arrival. The contact number on Vrbo went through to Egypt Mill, who aren’t connected with the apartment bookings, although they kindly gave me the host’s number and this was then quickly resolved.Despite these small issues, we really enjoyed our stay. A spacious, exceptionally clean apartment in a lovely location and perfect for a chilled break with our dog. We would happily stay again.

Hi Jackie, Thanks for your feedback. I have updated the contact details as I hadn't realised the old number remained on the listing. We took the decision not to supply shampoos etc to keep waste plastics etc to a minimum and this is outlined in our mission statement. Look forward to seeing you on your next visit. Thanks - Mat

Lovely cottage

What a lovely cottage, finished to such a high standard. Had everything we needed for our stay. Nailsworth is a lovely village so this was the perfect base. I’d recommend this place to everyone. Communication was excellent. Thanks for a wonderful stay in your amazing cottage.

Beautiful, spacious, super-convenient

Impressive rehabilitation - we stayed in the main apartment whose door faces towards Egypt Mill on the ground floor. There is one bedroom on that floor and two bedrooms down a flight of stairs. All rooms are enormous, with high ceilings. Beds were comfortable, showers (located in the lower level) were hot and good pressure, but rely on a pump for draining, which decided to fail during our first shower. Management had it fixed within a day. We would definitely stay again, as the location is terrific, quiet, convenient, and the management was very professional.
