Our family had an amazing get together at the shady bottoms! The layout was as expected and they provided us with a wonderful welcome gift! Our youngest LOVED the rose colored glasses! The walk to the beach was easy, even for my 79 year old mom. The game room was awesome!!!If you are looking for a place to stay at folly beach that is reasonable and great for beach access for a large family…THIS IS IT!

Loved everything about this house! Our only complaint is that the air conditioner was not working very well. It was a steady 78 degrees the entire weekend. Hosts were lovely and the house was clean and right on the beach. We would stay here again!

This was a great stay for a large group! There was enough room for a group of 10 to stay comfortably. The communication from the owners was great! In addition, the property was right across the street from the beach and in such a great location. Highly recommend!

Great location, just a couple of hundred feet from the beach.

This place is not fancy, but is fantastically located near the 10th East beach entrance and has 5 bedrooms that can fit a lot of people--perfect for our family reunion.

Folly Retreat

We come every year in Feb to Folly (and hope to get this house) for our choir retreat. We loved our stay. Great communication with and from the owners!

When we first vacationed in Folly Beach, we fell in love. We are a part of a large family from Michigan and this has been a dream of ours to own a vacation home on this beautiful island. We put a great deal of TLC into renovating this home so families can have a place to gather, slow down and reconnect.
Our family would personally like to invite you to share our home and fall in love with Folly Beach the way we did many years ago.

Why they chose this property

This property gives you all that you need; plenty of space to stretch out in the house and a .25 acre lot. We love the tranquility of the property, but are close to the hustle and bustle of the beach town atmosphere.
You are only 200 steps to the beach and 9 blocks to Center Street, where you can eat, shop and visit the acclaimed Bert's Market! (Open 24/7/365)

What makes this property unique

*Entire lower level, 1300 sqf. game room. Great for evening entertainment, a break from the sun, or those unexpected rainy days

*Our house features a (3) fan cooled screened porch on the front of the house to relax and an upper level deck in the back. It also has a covered and paved patio on the lower level.

*There is a fully-stocked kitchen, with all new appliances.

*All 7 queen sized beds feature new, memory foam mattresses, bedding and pillows.
