Highly recommend for a family stay. I went with my family for vacation and to celebrate our 15th anniversary. Made great memories. Lovely home, beautiful views and a great place to bring the fam.
This was our first time renting here and it has been the best vacation we have had as a family in 5 years. It has been so relaxing and quiet. We have so enjoyed being away from “city” life and fishing, going to Busch Gardens, Water country, going to Visit Norfolk battleship and Va zoo. It has been hot as all get out, however so so much fun. We also got to watch neighbors set off fireworks for the 4th instead of having to go into to busy Williamsburg or Yorktown. (Although we love those places also ). We wanted a quiet country cookout with family and new friends. We will be back to stay again!!!!! We definitely have dreaded leaving!
This served as a great home base for my family while we were in town for a wedding. Everyone loved the space, pier, and walkability of the neighborhood. My only gripe with the property is the cleanliness. There was visible dust on the walls and ceiling fans, plus ants. We dropped a remote in between the reclining seats and it was obvious that hadn't been vacuumed out in a while. We found dust, food, and baby clothes. We would absolutely stay again, I just recommend a deep clean. Thanks!
The property is beautiful! It’s decorated so cute and beachy. The beds were actually comfortable! I love that paper towels and dish sponges were provided. We had a great time fishing from the dock as well! The downtown area is just a short walk away. There are great shops and restaurants! We would absolutely stay here again.

The kitchen needs a good cleaning. The frying pan looked like it was from civil war and full of grease. The fish net hanging by the kitchen needs a good shaking out. The ice maker doesn't work, and the dish washer doesn't dry the dishes. I had to dry everything after the dish washer ran. Some of the cabinets needed a good wiping down. Another point, it advertised sleeps eight. Four adults could not comfortably sleep there. The bed on the second floor was terrible, couldn't use it. It was foam rubber and very uncomfortable. I guess they could not get a boxsprings and mattress up there because of the tight fit up the stairs. but twins would have been nice. The bed linens could be upgraded. The shower upstairs was good if you are a nine-year-old child. The family room had just three comfortable easy chairs, but we had four adults. One man out.The view was great and the setting was outstanding but it was not worth the price.
